Larry Townes has given a lot to our community. Bringing phone and fax, then DSL internet, now Fiber and going places that other providers are not willing to go while also doing it faster. Don't forget about First National Bank of Tom Bean located inside the main office.

Townes owns my local phone/internet company. The WiFi is horribly unreliable and performance is no where near what we pay for. We consistently have dropped WiFi or pitifully slow pings. The tech's only option is to replace the modem, time after time. However, the last service call, they had NO MODEMS available. What internet provider has no modems A call back to the "help desk" just led to a Tier 2 ticket for a different tech to come out & tell me the same thing. They also require you to have a home phone line for internet service. This requirement drastically increases the charges & forces customers to sign up for services they may not want. This company preys on small towns where they're the only game in town.

walnut hill owned by larry townes. and as 20 yr valued customer, phone and i nternet, i called and asked them to come hook up new computer to their internet, they refused, saying they dont do that. so they lost a customer, use Hughes net

Changing review: Our lines have now been replaced. Service has been stable, very rare to have any downtime. Price wise, its average for our location. Upload is still non existent, but DL is decent.
