I stopped to eat because it's been a few years. Same nearly full tables and great food. I came in at the end of the lunch rush and waited to take pictures until it cleared out a bit. The lunch specials were sold out. So I ordered my test order, Swiss and mushroom burger. First time it anywhere it ever came will grilled onions on it. I am not a mushroom fan and was thinking I wish I'd known. I would have asked them to hold the onions. By the time I finished I was wondering why everywhere else DOESN'T put onions or them.I did remember to take and post a picture of my food. I turned down the chips that came with the meal and while I thought of it, did not add tater Tots or French fries. Good choice because I was FULL just on the sandwich. I did eat at the table although the bun was grilled. It and the burger were so hot they would have been down to eating temperature by the time you got them some where. I appreciated having it served to me but I took off that one star because they didn't see the bewildered look on my face and educate me. The ticket was on the tray. So was the silverware, and I mean the real stuff not plastic. I shoulda/coulda used both earlier. And the Styrofoam cups are at the fountain. They don't give you the right size. They trust you.
I plan to go back a lot sooner so I make fewer mistakes.

Extra: if you have the Phillips card you get a BIG discount on your gas.
Besides great food and traditional convince store items this is also one stop to exchange your propane tank.
And they have good country music if you choose to eat outside or just visit.

DJ's is a local favorite and icon. I have been going to this store since I could drive -a really long time. The biscuits and gravy are my treat. My father in law, Don Cochran hangs out there several mornings a week with lots of other coffee drinkers. They have several yummy dishes, and a daily special
