Bad experience. First off the website is misleading asked for a room for 2 adults because they don't give an option to choose how many beds so we get here and cant get refunded or upgrade our room and then twice this happened we at work and they clean the room which is normal but they then don't make the beds instead they turn off all the lights and also the mini fridge so now 50$ worth of food is wasted and still they act like they didn't do it when we had it working before we went to work. This place needs to be demolished anyways building is probably from 1960s also over charges for a place with no amenities.

-5 Star. They came into the room while I was at work to clean. Two days, they turned the refrigerator off and caused $50 of food to go bad. I know it was the woman behind the counter. I'm glad I didn't leave my bags in the room. I know they would have gone thru them.
You will regret staying here!!!!

Probably one of my worst hotel experiences, we booked this on our way to visit family in IN, it was a good stopping point and I used my AARP to book it, price seemed ok.

My first experience was the snottiest, snarkiest desk person. I walk in and said Hi I have a reservation and she was like ok.... I paused then said ok what do you need? What form of ID or do you need a reservation number, which I said I don't think I got. all it gave me was an itinerary. She immediately said I can't use that, I said ok what do you need then? An ID? I pause... she said how can I use an itinerary number. So I pause and calmly say: What do you need? My name? My ID? She makes a snark about my name isn't on my forehead... so I say.. OK THEN YOU NEED MY ID..finally, it was the dumbest back and forth ever...

The room; it's an old hotel, room looked old, dirty, sheets had holes in them, blankets had rub marks and bare spots, fridge didn't work, a large empty corner where a table would have been nice, it was not a good room, especially for $80 plus. I'm glad I brought a disinfectant spray cause I can only imagine. I would have found a different place if it wasn't evening and we just wanted to get dinner and rest.

Next morning, we walk out to the Starbucks (it's only perk it's right next door) come back and suddenly the card key doesn't work, so it's cold I had to walk all the way around the building to the front office. Same useless snarky woman... I said it's not working, not sure if it was deactivated or what...she snarks I don't do the de-activate.. then snarks some more with "how can I do that without the card" ...... mmm I don't know use a COMPUTER... It's pointless.

So old, DIRTY, broken down hotel with a snarky clerk. Go somewhere else

This place does not rate one star. The lady at the desk was rude, indifferent and refused to acknowledge the issue of bed bugs in the room. I was covered in bites after my stay and when I explained this to her she walked away without saying anything. My wife counted over 80 bites when I got home. She called the place to speak with the manager and the woman at the desk answered the phone and refused to connect her with the manager. She kept asking why and my wife explained there was a bed bug infestation in room 247. She insisted the room was clean and the bugs came from our luggage. Totally false. The room was dirty around the baseboards and the floor panels were broken. She is not a nice person, never let her speak with the manager and hung up. You would be better off sleeping in your car if you had no other choices.

I booked a ground floor suite due to a special need. Upon arrival I was told by the manager "(The downstairs rooms) are not available" She was very non-communicative. Very unconcerned. I cut my foot on a loose floor board in the room. Nothing severe. The bed covers was dingy. The bathroom was always wet due to the leaking base of the commode. I stayed for 2 nights. No one ever came in with clean sheets or to replenish soap, towels; etc. I feel deceived re: the original booking promise of a ground floor room. I feel a full refund is in order due to my wretched experience. My advise is to close down this hotel and sell the land for someone to teardown this building and redevelop the lot into something of usefulness and quality. This hotel was a nice and cozy getaway some 20 years ago. Under this management, this hotel is a blight to Worthington's reputation.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! Unfortunately, I wish my family had read reviews before booking here. The lady at the front desk is an absolute monster. We were in town for a concert after arriving and checking in (which in itself was a hassle) she acted as if we were not standing in front of her, argued that we had not pre booked the room EVEN AFTER SHOWING CONFIRMATION EMAILS. After the initial interaction and finally checking in we go up to our room, unload our things and she comes banging on the door that we have to leave because she won’t allow a family to stay in a room with only one Queen bed (that she had placed us in). She wouldn’t leave the room and allow us to pack our things back up without watching, followed us out harassing and laughing at us… keep in mind we had a 1 year old and 10 year old with us (ALL ON VIDEO). I’m not sure what makes people want to live so miserable but this lady has one agenda and she is very confrontational. I proceeded by telling her how unprofessional she was and that there were children present. Sorry for the long post but please do not make the mistake we did by booking here!!!!!

I stayed here for a period of time, during a life change. I gave the front desk lady the benefit of the doubt due to her tremendous workload. Having removed myself from this hotel, I can now safely say...do not stay here. Front Desk lady is deceptive and flat out lied to me more than once. It is not clean and the lady seems to be bothered by anyone and everyone that stays there. Instead of the welcoming host one would expect, it is quite the opposite. I'd recommend not staying here at all. Find anywhere else to stay.
