I went to return all of their equipment after canceling their service. (Their prices for existing customers just got outrageous. They have good deals for new customers, but you aren't eligible for them if you are already a customer.) I got there and you can't go inside. Let's see, I'm going to put their equipment in a drop box with no proof that I did. No, I will just wait for them to send a box, and they can pay shipping.

Wow in general, i’m paying for 1G , refresh everything i get 700mb fair enough. let it run for an hour , throttled to 200mbps max. 2.5g port on box runs at 35mbps. F them and the faulty equipment. if it’s not fixed in Saturday. i’m switching .

*edit* so the tech that came out , super good dude. The contractor that hooked it up initially should quit all together. It’s now Monday, it’s alright. 600ish on WIFI. The old sercom box was trash. Adding to that, the owner tells you to call the 866 number that’s contracted out oversees. No thanks. I know how to troubleshoot. We’ll see if they took WIFI off my bill since I am now hardwired to my own mesh. No random disconnects today, so it’s a start.

Was a customer for many years. I signed up for the service in 2018 and a few years later the modem broke. A technician came out and replaced the broken modem with a new one and everything was fine. I recently canceled service after moving but they insist that I did not return the old broken modem that their tech took with him on that service call nearly 4 years ago.

They say they have investigated the matter 3 times but have found that they've done nothing wrong so I have to pay.

I guess the moral of the story is don't let their technicians take anything with them.

EDIT: After this review their customer care team contacted me and tried to tell me that there was a records mix up and I had mailed them back the old modem but I didn't send back the new modem. I confirmed with them that they had recently received a modem from me and then asked if they could explain why, if I have had two modems on loan from them, do I have billing statements for the last 4 years with equipment rental charges for only 1 modem?
The agent just hung up on me.

I called back and a new agent said that the bill was now turned over to a collections agency and they couldn't do anything about it.

I contacted the collections agency and contested the issue and they have since dropped the action.

Do not use these people.

I was just told my bill is now $50! I set up my plan 2 months ago and they act like this didn’t happen. ? The ppl they hire can’t understand me or I don’t understand the words coming out of their mouth. It’s like for real ? I have been a customer at least 8 years. Wow treats its customers dirty. No heads up! No email! Nothing stating a change is coming! I’m looking for something else today! I’m Over Wow! Wow!?

terrible service they should consider selling there company to a bunch of swamp hillbillies. they would do a better job at making quality internet than these total idiots. if i could give 0 stars i would, utter trash. customer service is pure a inferno of rage inducing migraines and makes me want to light my car on fire.

Turned in equipment two months ago and moved. They’re trying to charge me $220 dollars two months later for not turning equipment in and a bill for internet that hasn’t been active for two months. No one works in the office here. It’s a telework office. First customer service lady on phone hung up on me and had a terrible attitude; called back and the next guy didn’t speak English clear enough to converse.

Horrible customer service experience, we received a self setup kit for at home wifi, when we canceled the service do to poor quality and constant outages we returned to equipment we had received only to be hit with a full equipment fee, apparently there was a beacon plug i t o extend the wifi that should have been in the box however we never received it and did not have. I have been reaching out to customer service for 5 months trying to get the issue resolved only to be lied to over and over again and not being allowed to be escalated to management until 5 months in and the manager was then rude, short and argued with me trying to say that i was lying and that someone came in my home and physically installed it so i have to have it . Worst customer service experience ever, they offered no resolution or options you just get told you’re a liar and you will pay.

I moved to Huntsville 2 years ago, and I've always gotten great service from WOW INTERNET, WI-FI, and CUSTOMER SERVICE. From installation to service calls, I have never ever had a problem with them and received prompt and great service. Thank ? you for your service!!!?
