People in store are fine, but the service leaves much to be desired. After a week of having a phone that can't make or receive calls, text only, we have determined it is time to move on from the Union. We are canceling service. I better not get any invoice for service for my phone from the "upgrade" until we canceled.

The once famous slogan "Treating you like a neighbor, not a number" is well outdated with this company. Service is terrible, and customer service is even worse. I went there this afternoon to get my son his phone. I walked in and noticed that there were only two sales ladies. Well, one sales lady, the other was worthless. Both of them were busy, and one gentleman was waiting. The lady that was on the left was friendly and greeted us, and said we will be with you as soon as possible. Now I understand the 30-minute wait. Seems a lot of people are used to that. I also understand first come, first serve. I can wait patiently, and I did wait patiently for roughly 20 minutes. The lady who greeted us finished with her customer and went directly over to greet the gentleman ahead of my son and me.
Shortly after that, another person walked in. Roughly 5 minutes later, my son and I were still patiently waiting when the other salesperson finished up with the customer she was helping when we walked in. I expected her to come over to my son and me when I watched her walk right up to the person who walked in after us. Now, I am a big person, not easily missed. Okay, so possibly she didn't see me, but my son, a platinum blonde high-volume voice and a bright red sweatshirt, couldn't have been overlooked. The gentleman before us noticed that she took the other person in, in front of us, and looked at me while I shook my head. He went to jester to the other salesperson that I was there first, but it was too late. I was already up and walking towards the door. On my way out, I told my son I would take him to Verizon right next door.

Now, over at Verizon, there was only one person in there, and we were able to get helped in less than 15 minutes.

Now, I have two phone lines with Union Wireless. One of which is under contract for a few more weeks. Those two lines will be switched to Verizon in the next few weeks.

Sadly, I've been with Union Wireless since I was 16, now 42, and I remember when they had the most reliable network here. I don't know exactly what happened, but within the last two years, their customer service has hit rock bottom, and their network is subpar to Verizon.

I used to tell people, 'Maybe Union isn't state of the art, but they have the best customer service.'
Today, I had a customer service person become snide when I described my legitimate complaints concerning reduced services. The conversation went downhill from there.

I have been with Union Wireless for 18 years, but will be moving to Verizon, which has no snide, condescending, or patronizing customer service people.
I will get better phone, text, and data service, and the great customer service that Union no longer provides.

They used to be good. Service barely works anymore, have to call every month to fix something that their software updates messed up. Currently can't even make or receive calls, 45 minutes on hold, got through and they still can't fix it. 😒

A piece of my charger broke off and was stuck in my phone, making it impossible to insert another charging cord.

I had my son run it over to the Union Witeless store in Rock Springs, WY and a young man fixed it quickly and at no charge. (Apparently, my son walked into the store at closing time.) Helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Not happy with this company. Bought a new phone and I couldn't send or receive texts. Instead of giving a new phone, the manager of the Riverton store refused to give me a new phone and said I had to send it in for repair. The phone was only one day old!
