I've witnessed staff go above and beyond their job description. They treat residents with care and respect. Loving them like family.

We recently moved our dad into Story Point and it has been a wonderful experience for both my dad and our family. From our first meeting with Dylan to tour the facility, we knew this was the best place for our dad! The entire facility is beautiful, extremely clean and feels very welcoming. As move in got closer to move in, we met with Chelsea and Amber from the care team to discuss all his care needs. They assured us they would take good care of him and could meet all his needs. The Care Team is absolutely amazing! They are all so kind, patient and very caring. They truly treat him as if he was their father or grandfather. His transition was a little rough at first but they all assured us it was very normal. They showed him extra kindness and care as he adjusted. And, now he is very happy to be there. They have also been very supportive to me as I worried about him and his adjustment. We couldn’t be happier with our decision! My sister inlaw and I joke that when the time comes we want to live here too!

My mother lived at Storypoint Rockford for over 6 years. The staff there was so amazing! All I can say is that she “blossomed” after moving in there! There were so many activities to participate in and real friendships made!
She started out in independent living and ended up having to go to assisted living. ALL of the staff made it so easy to transition! Excellent communication always about her care!I honestly cannot say enough good about the staff, I really miss them and everything about Storypoint!

I would recommend StoryPoint to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place for their loved ones. Nothing but love flows from the caregivers and staff. You really could not choose a better home that cares for your loved ones as much as you do. The caregivers here go over and above their expectations to make sure the residents are cared for and feel at home, whether it’s a hot cup
Of coffee or a simple hug , they know it all can mean so much more!

You can feel the excitement when you come in the doors of StoryPoint. Staff and residents are like one big inviting family.... everyone is welcomed by everyone in the community... the community is alive! It's amazing to see all the fun things going on at StoryPoint .... I'm proud to be associated with a place that feels so different than any other senior community I've been to.

My mom is staying there now. The place looks very nice and the care givers are very friendly. But the place is way overpriced. My mom tells me she is getting no PT any more and the food is awful. They often bring her the wrong order. So she’s not getting exercise and she’s not getting adequate nutrition.

Just a symptom of a systemic problem: elderly care is a racket. That’s why they all have a booking fee. More so in ritzy Rockford. Look elsewhere, and be careful working with Care Patrol. They are who connected us.

My mom has given her 30 days notice and will be going home ASAP. Save your $5000 booking fee.

Truly impressed by such a warm and welcoming community. The activities they have planned for residents are engaging and thoughtful. I have seen many staff members go above and beyond to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, etc. And the food is amazing!
