If I could give them 0 stars I would! These people called ME…interviewed me, went through the hiring process, sent me for a drug screen then offered me a position with Tesla. I told them I’d be ready to start after I worked out my 2 week notice at my current job (BTW was an EXCELLENT company called Raindogs Trucking. The only reason I was leaving was because I needed to be home every day instead of OTR). I worked my 2 weeks then TRIED to report back to Patrik the recruiter who ignored my calls for over a week!! I left SEVERAL messages with recruiters line. Then when I FINALLY got a hold of someone from corporate by pretending to be a potential customer, I was told that I would have to wait another month for the “second building to open up”. Then, I was told to wait another 3 weeks because the building was not yet opened. Then AFTER THREE MONTHS OF BEING UNEMPLOYED, was told there was a freeze on hiring!!!!🤬🤬🤬 I was out of a job!! I faced eviction and my medical coverage almost lapsed!! I went back to my old job. SPEC SUCKS!!

I went for my orientation at a job that the promised me certain hours. I get out there that shift has been filled. I drove an hr after receiving a text confirming everything. When you go to call them they click you to voicemail. Most unprofessional trashy company. Don’t waste your time

Great place to work, Excellent staff: Melissa, John, and the rest are very knowledgeable and friendly, I have always been paid on time and they will keep you as busy as you want with plenty of work, when other companies were shutting down for breaks or holidays SPEC always had extra opportunities available.
I have been with this company for over 5 years and can personally tell you if you are looking for a no nonsense company, are ready and willing to work, and take pride in your profession they will reward your hard efforts and treat you like a friend.
Stop wasting your time with other temp agencies like I did and be a part of the best.

Most unprofessional agency I’ve ever dealt with. I took an assignment back in 2014 and I didn’t feel it was a safe work environment so I spoke with John and was told I could leave and he would reassign me. That was not the case whatsoever. I went in this morning after I called about a position I had seen on social media and I was told it was still available. I went straight there and then when I got there I was told it was no longer available. I only live in Murfreesboro so I was there in no longer than 12 mins. Then after I wasted gas, to further complicate the situation, the manager told me that I was no longer eligible to work there because I never showed up to an assignment that I have never heard of until today. I can go back to any of my past jobs because I’m a good worker and my attendance hasn’t been an issue. This agency is mediocre and that’s a nice way to put it.

Two weeks ago I had seen a post for a Non CDL driver. I applied and I called. Filled out the application, all the paperwork, and sent my documents over. I have contacted Spec twice regarding the job position and have been told there waiting for the client to give them a day and time in order for the client to interview me. I have been told this twice. Now two weeks later, I am still waiting. The ad stated that the job would be an immediate start. That is not the case at all. Do not state this in the ad if it isn't true. My review will change if something is done about this.

I got hired within a week of applying to the post. The application process was smooth. The lady was nice to me in the office. Here's the issue I worked for Alley Cassetty in Gallatin for almost 3 weeks. I got a call from SPEC saying my term was ended no explanation. Why couldn't you tell me... I called the manager for Alley Cassetty and he said the girl who was training me decided to stay longer!!!!! Really!! I asked her before getting my belongings to leave....talking about being fit to be tired today.. Don't work for them BC they are unprofessional and cuss like sailors only two of the four in the office at AC are nice. I would say to SPEC make sure your employer is going to stick to their word. In my case I was told the date this woman was leaving. I didn't have a typical temp job I was training to take over. Don't post jobs if the person supposedly leaving can change their minds at a drop of a dime....not professional one bit...she should've moved on not me

Update- Was contacted by Spec and there was a misunderstanding that was sorted out and I was promised to be paid what was due.

Was a temp at Spec in Smyrna, TN from October 30th 2017-September 7th 2018. I was with the same company during the entire time. Then, I was terminated from that company on the 7th and Spec is refusing to pay me for my Labor day holiday pay on September 3rd.

First they tried to say it was because I was terminated, then they said I had to work the day before and the day after the holiday to get paid for it. I was told it was their policy. The company I was working for was only open Monday-Friday. I worked Friday the 31st as well as Tuesday the 4th.

NOWHERE in their contract does it state if I don't work the day after and the day before the holiday will they not pay me and nowhere in their contract does it say anything about me being terminated, that they will not pay me. I WILL be contacting corporate about this.

If I could rate this office a no star i would! I was assigned to drive for a local company, they had no pre-trip sheets, no electronic log, faulty equipment etc. The truck would not go into gear, we were stranded for over an hour. I was instructed to press the accelerator until the RPM reached 2500 or greater. I reported my concerns to the office after the assignment. I spoke with Lauren, whom relayed a message by Melissa that if I didn't go back to the assignment, I wouldn't be allowed to work on another account. Melissa isn't management material! Her concern isn't safety, the welfare of others, just profit. In a email on today, she stated that my allegations were false, however the problems were witnessed by another employee of a different agency. She lies, claim to want to resolve issues only to her personal profitable benefit. I don't believe the company is bad, nor do I believe that Lauren or others staff are like her. She isn't fit for her job. I have filed a complaint with the FMSCA and will continue to pursue other remedies. Picture of the interior of the assigned equipment will be posted below.
