Cannot say enough good about Sherri Drew Spinks and her amazing team from Southern Care Hospice of Terre Haute. They took such good care of my mom as she was rapidly declining with COPD. We called one day and they were there the next getting all the paperwork completed. The initial meeting with Sherri put mom at such ease because she was listened to and explanations were given to all her questions. They validated all moms concerns and fears. The Southern Care team made it such a smooth transition taking over mom’s care and making sure she got her medication and anything else that would make her feel more comfortable. Mom felt she was truly being listened to and she trusted them completely. A special thanks to Mackenize who was mom’s primary nurse Mackenize answered all of our questions and gave us tips on how to best do our part in moms care. From the first phone call to the agency, to moms last heartbeat, Southern Care Hospice was exceptional.

This company and its staff were amazing in the care of our mother. I wish to thank all the nurses, Shelby, who sat with us all night long, Amy, who came out and showed me how to give my mom her meds, Mackenzie, Sara, Lisa and all the others who were there for us. We have been blessed to have the most amazing care for 3 of my family members from SouthernCare Terre Haute!! The on call nurse Babette was amazing at symptom management. The RN CM Jamie was amazing at providing support to my Mom as she cared for her Dad. Thank you SouthernCare!

All southern care is a true true blessing to the world. In the several years that my dad was on their service I got to meet several of their team members and they wete the most professional and kindest caring people. They didn't only help dad live comfortable they helped us be more educated in the care that my father needed.even after he was gone they still give us suport. I would recommend their team to anyone. Thank you all once again for being with us through his passing

I cannot say enough good about Southern Care Hospice Terre Haute. They were very helpful, encouraging, and supportive In my family's time of need. They had informed us on what to expect in the progression of my sisters disease so there were no surprises. The nurses and aides who came daily treated my sister with dignity and kindness. I felt they gave as much support to the family as they did my sister.

Only got 1 star because I had to in order to post a review. Southern Care denied our loved one because "they weren't in enough pain" resulting in them being moved from the hospital where they passed 24 hours later. Shameful!

This is reply to your comment..........the whole purpose of a review is so others see our experience, how we were treated and make their own decisions based on their loved ones needs. Interesting how you want to have a private conversation now. I strongly suggest you look within your company and make immediate changes!!!!!

I have had my mother and my brother-in-law on services very highly recommended company with in our small community. the education preparation compassion and knowledge our family received was nothing but positive experience in a very difficity time.
