Excellent! Just returned from Uncovering Camelot and it was extremely good and well organized, so good that I'm already working on booking another tour with Scholarly Sojourns. Every hotel was memorable, some in historic buildings, some over the top elegant, all fun, and all selected to fit in with the theme of the tour. We went far "off the beaten path" to historic sites that other tours would never take you to, but were important parts of the Arthurian legend. The tour leader and scholar were great company, very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the trip extremely interesting. Everyone of the tour quickly became friends and that added to the enjoyment of the tour.

Make sure no family members die within 90 days of your tour because there will be no refund! We had to reschedule our original tour because there were insufficient participants. We selected another tour that was happening a few weeks earlier, and our funds were transferred. Unfortunately a family member went into hospice just before we were to leave. They died soon thereafter. SS absolutely refused to transfer ANY percentage of our $3400 fees to another tour.

Scholarly Sojourns went above and beyond what I expected on our recent trip to Scotland, making the trip stress-free by handling all the logistics and even a few hiccups that happened along the way. We got special access to distilleries and restaurants, our tour director provided expert advice throughout the entire trip (plus whisky and snacks!), and we stopped at places only a local would know about thanks to their expertise. It was well worth it to travel with Scholarly Sojourns and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
