When the USO decided to pull out of the USO Military Lounge at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) on January 31, 2024, the Airport Authority asked a group of volunteers who had previously operated the lounge if they could take it over and operate it so the military transiting through SAV could have a comfortable welcome center. The group of volunteers, now renamed "Savannah Salutes" reopened the closed lounge the following day, February 1, 2024. The Airport Authority offered to provide Savannah Salutes with a web page, and we were delighted when we were contacted by RobMark. We provided the words and a copy of our new logo, and they did the rest! Easy to work with, they were creative in designing a warm, friendly website, easy to navigate, and with a seamless interface to the Savannah Salutes volunteer program and a "donate now" module.
