As an artist I was so excited to see this opportunity in my area without having to travel hours . I can honestly say I’ve not been disappointed. Donna is a gem and an excellent teacher !

This was so much fun! I was looking for something fun to do on my birthday and searched “art classes” on Google maps. Northern Colors came up with a variety of available classes, some available to be scheduled on the fly. I chose the Bob Ross oil painting class and Donna scheduled it just for me, on my birthday. We watched and painted along to a Bob Ross instructional video and had a great time. Her studio is so comfortable and professional looking. Note if you do the oil painting class, oil takes many days to dry, so you will either need to pick it up on a different day, or like we did, bring a shallow tote large enough to transport it in. Will be back for a pottery class next year. Definitely a fun experience for one person or a group💚

Northern Colors is such a wonderful studio and has introduced me to such a lovely community of artists in the area! Donna is an amazing teacher, and really takes the time to work one on one with you whenever the opportunity arises. From the first day I met her I knew right away that she is super passionate about ceramics, and just wants to pass on her skills and knowledge so that others can create too. After taking the beginner course and working one on one with a Donna, pottery has become a true passion of mine and I love every moment that I get to spend in the studio.
