This has become one of my favorite local places to eat any time of year, indoors or out on the patio after Wednesday farmer’s market.

The renovations are coming along nicely. I love the new bathrooms with fun wallpaper - much more spacious with better handicap and family amenities !

Looking forward to the end of the construction and the return of my fav dish: Lauren’s special salad with lentils, grilled veggies, and spicy tofu. Yum!

First time attending since the new addition was added. No wait time which was incredible! The BACON is a must have every time. Something there for everyone. Would highly recommend 10/10.

It’s so delicious!
It’s a salmon egg scramble—clean and flavorful. Adding a touch of jalapeño sauce makes it even better.
The fluffy pancakes are absolutely amazing!

There are very few restaurants that deserve 5 stars every single time you going but The Mason Jar is one of them!

Each time we visit family, a meal here is top of the agenda. The menu is thoughtful and well-curated sourcing ingredients from local farms and vendors. The quality and consistency of the food is excellent.

It’s very busy year-round but especially in the summer given the location near the lake communities that draw people from Chicago and other drivable cities. So, we use the online “wait in line” feature which keeps you updated on your place in line via text.

If you have breakfast vs. lunch debates in your party, this is a great spot because the menu is deep in both categories. We love the pancakes, quiche, salads, coffee, crab cakes … and more!

If you’re anywhere nearby, it’s worth the wait!

The service was exceptional. Julia A was one of the best servers I've had in my life time! The rest of the staff was overly friendly, but it's genuine!

My lady is gluten free and I've never seen her so happy! So many options! I tried her food, and it was delicious! My food was fantastic as well!

Next time we're in town, we're coming back here for sure!

Our table had the sweetest waitress, giving suggestions if needed. We had several different dishes that are considered the best there. They did not disappoint. I personally had the corned beef hash and could not quit eating! I tried some of the stuffed French toast, insanely decadent. We dove head first into sweet and the savory, all plates empty, no leftovers!! Definitely worth the drive for enjoying a lovely meal.
