Actually pretty amazing food, service, and pricing. Alot of options and the place is bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Will definitely be back. Especially for the fresh chips and fruit cup.

My wife and I grew up in Arizona and finding good & authentic Mexican food in Indiana has been very challenging, to say the least. However, the search is over. Lucia's is a family owned restaurant that started as a food truck.

When we arrived at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night, we could only see a few customers from outside but due to a couple good reviews we decided to stick to our plan and try it. We were so glad we did!

The restaurant is very clean with super friendly staff. We had the Quesabirra Tacos (as they were apparently one of the most ordered items on the menu) and the Saturday special, Enchiladas Mexicana. Both items were so good!! Very authentic, good quantity of food, great presentation and the price was very affordable. No "liquid cheese" smothering the food.

We can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. We can honestly report that this is some of the better Mexican food we have experienced, even if it had been in AZ. Very impressed! If you are searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant, look no further.

I went for my birthday after hearing so many amazing reviews on FB and man they did not disappoint.. Atmosphere is amazing nice cozy spot

I can't thank the people at Lucia's enough. I had emailed them earlier in the week to check on animal ingredients in the rice and beans. I received prompt replies and found out both were free of animal ingredients. It's common for restaurants to use lard in refried beans and chicken (broth) in rice. I also asked if they'd be willing to cook vegetables in a clean pan or something which they said they could, but be sure to ask at the restaurant.

So we stopped by Lucia's #1 while in town for some Christmas shopping. Looking at the menu I was worried about eating there with all the "meat" options. I explained everything to our server and she was very nice and understanding. I appreciate the extra work the kitchen staff did to prepare our food how we requested.

My wife had a vegetarian salad and I basically did too. I got flour shells with mine and ate it as a fajita. The chips and salsa were really good. Guacamole was also tasty. We both enjoyed our meals. We both ate way too much but it was too delicious to stop. I might try a burrito on our next visit.

So if you're a vegetarian or vegan and the menu options are intimidating, no need to worry. Lucia's staff are willing to accommodate and stuff like rice and beans are already safe for vegans. It is tricky finding a vegan friendly restaurant in Terre Haute. Thank you Lucia's!

This is the best Mexican Restaurant in town. The food is authentic. The service is amazing. I go here all the time. The sauces are rich in flavor. Every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. The restaurant is clean. Parking is easy and close to the entrance. Memorial Park is across the street. Outdoor seating is available. If you’re reading this and haven’t tried it, you’re wasting your time. Get there now!
