I did the audition and had a call back with Erin the same day (September 21st) and the first time she canceled due to an emergency and then the second time she said we can meet and I said okay but let her know that I didn’t receive any Zoom ID or anything besides from that Saturday and she never responded or sent me another email. I’m super disappointed by this because I’ve heard good things about John Casablancas but this makes me believe what everyone says it’s a scam.

My daughter auditioned here back in 2019 and the director gave her the offer to be in classes because my daughter was 13 at the time and a little shy. They offered a couple people actually booking I felt like were all older around my age but didn't tell them they had to have a portfolio or anything. One man I was speaking to while we were there was graded "A" and offered booking was an older guy and didn't have experience.

Now we went back because my daughter's confidence is through the roof (boarding cocky in my opinion lol) and the time Tanya the assistant said it would be a zoom meeting with the director. She gave the director the wrong time and we had reschedule directly with Janet (the director). We get on the zoom meeting and it was NOT WITH THE DIRECTOR. It was with some rude guy barking orders with out any polite professionalism in his voice. After he spoke about how much money they take from the people who get into their "agency" he started asking questions. He asked me if I support my daughter I told him 99%. His response was well when she becomes rich and famous it will be 100%. Which I explained to him false the only reason it is 99% is because I do not believe in society's beauty standards and I support her being her and showcasing her natural beauty but don't want her to change. He then asked my daughter to grade herself on a 3 let system. A is ready to model but now this time unlike back in 2019 he said that mean you have had classes and have a portfolio and professional pictures. B ready to take classes. C cut yourself. My daughter graded herself an A because she is ready to model and I am a professional photographer so I can take her pictures. He then said well have you been trained, to which my daughter answered not professionally. He said well don't you think you should take professional classes. My daughter stumbled a little because she doesn't feel she needs professional classes to model since there are many models who did not take classes and still made it. He didn't like that she did not say "absolutely yes" so his response was. "You aren't interested because you would have said absolutely yes if you wanted to be a model so you can leave."

Again this man was rude and let me reiterate they told my daughter at age 13 she has the talent she only needs to open up more but wanted thousands of dollars to take classes there for that. Honestly don't waste your time go to a real agency or find bookings on your own.
