It's a wonderful scenic natural landscape when driving through to Arizona.
I love to watch the ATV's.

Last week the wind was blowing fast creating a sand stormish and we had to drive super slow. It was eerily beautiful.

Wide expanse of soft dirt great for 4 wheeling off road and exploring. Lots of bathrooms and wide open space. We went Friday morning early and there was only one other truck there.We usually pass through in the afternoon too and its full of vehicles.

An outstanding location. Magazine level landscapes in all directions with plenty of people enjoying dune buggies. An absolutely huge area with room to get away if needed. Bathrooms and parking are plentiful.

Nature is just beautiful, visiting from Miami and this is just an amazing place for pictures, this is something different! You don’t need a permit on august but be mindful to have the permit October to April!

Try going in the morning or for the sunset since in summer is really hot .

Sand dunes are awesome. If you plane to ride the dunes find someone that knows how to ride them. Don't forget your camping permit (sidewinder exit chevron) and california offload sticker if out of state.

Arrived there at 6am and experienced the fastest 3 hours of my life. Very nice, open, and cool during the sunrise but idk about the sunset. I recommend going with a group since it's almost in the middle of nowhere and cell service is different for everyone.

Great place to enjoy the finest . The desert has to offer. Great weather from fall to string. Beautiful nights to star gaze, great riding on full moon night. The whole dunes are illuminated. What a site.
