By far, one of the best salons I have been to in the world and this is the #1 salon in Michigan for this Michigander! Sabina has made every experience I have had at this salon impeccable. I wish she could be my forever hairstylist. What makes her unique is it is clear her approach to hair styling is that of a creative meshed with a mathematician who understands how shapes, length, dimension can enhance your features. She is great at talking through your vision and will go the extra mile to make sure she is capturing that vision. She is also an overall joy to talk to and is chill if you are the quiet type.

A++ for the ambience in this downtown Ann Arbor salon. It is a mix of cozy and luxurious. Everyone from the moment you walk in is nice. I personally am also impressed by how pristine this place is.

I have been seeing Alyssa for years, even before she became apart of hJEM. I’d follow her anywhere, but I’m so happy she’s apart of the hJEM beauty fam. Everyone who works there is just as great as Alyssa, friendly, passionate, and so loving! It is very clear that they just want anyone who walks through that door to feel beautiful and loved, and they do a great job at it everyday!

5 Stars — The BEST Hair Experience!

I cannot recommend Celena enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely welcomed and taken care of. They took the time to really listen to what I wanted, offered styling advice, and absolutely nailed the look. My hair has never looked or felt better — the cut and my extensions is super flattering, and the styling was set to perfection.

Not only is Celena incredibly skilled, but they’re also warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I left the salon feeling confident, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next appointment.

If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares and delivers flawless results, this is the one! Best in A2!

I had my first appointment today at hJEM. Bailey did my hair & she was a 12/10! Her attention to detail, care for my textured hair, and listening to what I wanted/my concerns were refreshing. My husband even said it is the best my hair has ever looked coming home from the salon.

My 9 year old grand daughter and I, love the upbeat talented salon staff. From the first contact with the front desk by phone or person, you know it is comfortable and welcoming. While I have the stylist who best fits my needs, I also have another stylist there who knows my hair. I’ve never left there not liking my hair thanks to Jess and Hannah. My grand daughter enjoys her stylist as well. She ask me to always make her appointment with him. Eric has the best blowout skills in Ann Arbor. My grand daughter has curly hair, and he knows how to make it behave. There are lots of talented stylists to meet every hair need from cuts to product recommendations.
