We changed Property Management companies this summer, So far Gerow has stood way above our old company.
Jamie does a great job with follow up and getting things accomplished. They are also on top of the financial end as well, great change to this new management team

Poor response timing and unable to get problems across the finish line. I had notified them about a major leaf buildup in our gutters in the fall and the problem was never fixed. We dealt with overflowing gutters (around the whole house) the entire rainy season and now have ice packed gutters that have lead to ice damning. I contacted them late October about the gutters as I was concerned about ice damning and when their contract ended on December 31st they threw their hands up and said they didn't have time to get to it and it's no longer their problem to address. How is two months notice for something simple like gutters not enough time? Fall cleanup was part of the contract and the fees we paid for. We might have the only trees with close proximity to a house in our neighborhood so the problem is likely isolated to our place. I asked to be reimbursed for this because we paid for the service but they said they no longer manage the property. This would be like paying for snowplowing service but the plow truck never showing up. I understand their are labor constraints right now but that is a tough way to run and manage a business. Most reputable businesses would reimburse someone for work paid for but not completed. Unfortunately they passed the buck to the new management company and i was hoping to pass the reimbursement to them for the hassle.
UPDATE: One of the owners got back to me with a very professional and empathetic response & explanation which helps unpack the situation more clearly. Kudos to Gerow for providing further clarity.

One star is being generous, if I'm being honest. Extremely poor communication between the company. If you're expecting a timely call back or email response, forget it. It took over three months to have a roof leak "fixed" after finally reaching out to my HOA for help to just have someone at the company resolve the issue, after my numerous attempts. The contractor they hired did an awful job and the leak caused even more damage months later and now I'm told that I'm responsible for the damage. They are absolutely no help. I truly wish my HOA would hire another property management company, because I'm not sure exactly what they are managing! Take your business elsewhere, seriously.

If you’re property association would be interested in a super apathetic management company that it’s primary interest is collecting their monthly fees; then Gerow Property Management should be your first call! Far too many issues to attempt to convey over the years! Would give their performance and attitude a zero rating if I could. Pathetic!

I´m re-writing my review because I learned some of the issues I thought were this company were due to the board of directors of our condo association making decisions (like removing the dog poop stations). We did not have any issues with this company.

They do not take care of properties, never in the budget. 7 years ago fee was $155 now its up to $220 per month, always to do the repairs and put items in the budget, still same issues 7 years later. Can’t even replace a door when clearly we all approved it.
