After speaking with local offices, many of these reviews hold true. The local technicians are great but otherwise this company leaves a lot to be desired. The woman in the Clarksburg office was nothing short of unprofessional and lacking in compassion. It was obvious that she had no sense of settling my frustrations. She just wanted to get me off of the phone. Do better frontier. This area deserves better.

Frontier is a joke, provides NO customer service, will NOT allow you to speak with a supervisor or anyone in charge. Their technicians in the field, WHEN you can get an appointment with one (they try every way to AVOID sending a technician to your home), are VERY GOOD, but it takes multiple days, calls, waiting on hold, to get one scheduled. Their Internet service is ridiculous, and they refuse to upgrade my area. Will change as soon as I can find another provider that services my area. DO NOT USE FRONTIER IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE AVAILABLE TO YOU.

Customer service is sorely lacking. We were told by a supervisor that we would be able to upgrade to bonded service since our neighbor who is 100 ft. away from our house has it. My husband took the time to do some rewiring in our house before our scheduled appointment. The tech did not show for our first appointment. We rescheduled. A tech allegedly showed up to our house 2 days BEFORE the rescheduled appointment. Then, surprise, on the day of the actual rescheduled appointment, nobody showed. Both my husband and I called the supervisor, Jamie, who then informs us we cannot get bonded service. Really?! I have contacted the WV Public Service commission and the office of the President of Frontier Communications. I am also searching for other phone/internet providers in my area. I highly advise you to go with another provider, regardless of price, if you are in the market for new service.

Absolutely miserable company to deal with. I have been trying to get my phone service (long distance) to work for over a month. I have made 4 appointments, the technician calls after the designated time and says he doesn't have time to show up. It is a safety issue. I've had emergencies happen and haven't been able to get a hold of my family. I have no cell service, so I depend on my landline phone. I am tired of paying for services and service calls that are not provided/completed. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Over a year ago a technician wants to come out and install high speed Internet. The technician called me and was so upset, he said that this area does not support high-speed Internet. My Internet is always dropping, when I do call to try to talk to someone about my bill, or anything else. I always get routed overseas, I would love to be able to speak to somebody in the US on the phone. It’s terrible we only have two choices in this area . We either have to go with spectrum, and their rates are outrageous or frontier. I think it’s terrible that not only does cable have a monopoly in the area. But we also have no choice of gas companies or power companies. I’m seriously thinking of just buying an antenna. Would love for a US representative from frontier to call me.

One Star is to good for FRONTIER. Absolutely the WORST managed company I have ever deal with. You can never get a hold of a Repair service person. When you do they can’t tell anything except pass your call to another dam automated machine that takes 30 plus mins. to get a live body on the line and even then they are BRAIN DEAD.
People of WV need to come together and call your Local and State representative demanding them to bring in other telephone companies to the area.

If I could leave -1 star I would gladly do so, as they are not deserving of a single star. As a business owner, I don't understand how a company can get away with being SO TERRIBLE. The service we pay top dollar for is THE WORST imaginable. We pay for "High Speed Internet", but when tested by ADT to have a home security system installed we only came in at 0.7 mbps in upload speed. The minimum for any type of security system to work properly is 2.0...and we're barely getting 0.7.
I pay over $150 a month for TERRIBLE, SPOTTY, AND UNRELIABLE internet service.
The icing on the cake is, I cannot get any other internet service at my home due to where I live...so when purchasing the land to build our new home, we specifically checked with suddenlink to make sure THEY could service us so we wouldn't get stuck with Frontier again.
I terminated Frontier internet and phone at my place of business, as we couldn't even upload a single PDF file in an email with Frontier.
We switched to Suddenlink with a 52% cheaper bill (HUGE $$ difference) and our internet at work has been flawless now thanks to Suddenlink.

I despise throwing away money to Frontier every month so much. They don't deserve a single penny of it. I can't wait to move and be able to wash my hands of this pathetic "company".

Good luck with all the complaints filed to the Public Service Commission. I hope Frontier rots to the ground.
