Maybe I’m missing something on Frontier Fiber but I had AT&T Air and had very slow speeds and finally got Frontier Fiber 1 Gig. I tested them both on an unbiased speed test and Frontier was 10x faster. Mark installed everything and was fantastic and I felt safe letting him into our home. Maybe these 1 star reviews didn’t have the new fiber from Frontier?

If you like unreliable service, long outages, and poor customer service this is the company for you! I had their fiber service for about a year and there were 10 outages! All but one was in days not hours. The final straw was when they told my wife they couldn't get anyone out for a week! Also, after running countless speed tests the speeds are nowhere near what they advertise and what you think you are paying for!

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! Service is constantly down, have to wait days, sometimes more than a week to get outages restored, terrible customer service. Supposedly credited me for outages and Ithe credits never posted on my bills, so they LIED REPEATEDLY. LOTS of promises and NO delivery! If I could rate them a zero, I would. Avoid at all cost!!

Atrocious service. Please do not subscribe to this internet provider. Consistent internet outages, terrible upcharge policies, and they will up your rates without notification. Fee you 30 dollars if your card declines and lead you into a false sense of security by making you think the payment went through. I had a bill that was $74.99 and it jumped to $188 in a couple days with zero notification. The internet is terrible and the service and policies are worse.

We had frontier internet for about a year. It never worked well. We had to reset the router several times a week and when it did work it was extremely SLOW. When we called they sent someone out and gave us a new router after about 3 new routers in few months we gave up. We cancelled our service and they charged us another whole month because they said they won’t prorate the invoice so we had to pay for services we weren’t receiving. Then they charged us a $10.00 cancellation fee. Not a respectable company . Please don’t waste your money.

I tried to add home phone service through this company. I waited 2 months and kept calling to find out when it would be installed. If I got through to a live representative, they would tell me engineering had been there and the installation would be this week. For weeks, no one showed up. Customer service is the worst. Their automated system is very poor. No one knows what the other is doing. If you can, stay away from Frontier. I finally just cancelled the install because no one there cared if I became a customer or not. I cannot even give them 1 Star!

After years of unreliable connectivity and service we finally closed our account with this company. Our internet would repeatedly come to a slow crawl and I would then spend hours talking to their techs online. After no resolution they would then schedule someone to come out to our house, almost always about 7-8 days later. The tech would arrive and tell us our setup was fine. The techs would express their frustration saying that the issue was too many subscribers on the CO, plus lack of technology upgrades at the CO. I had finally had enough and killed account. This is where it gets more comical. They wanted to charge me a disconnect fee. Keep in mind I had been paying for service that was nonexistent. I asked them to remove. They wouldn’t. So I finally get my last bill with the disconnect fee. I went online to pay it and couldn’t because they disconnected my billing account from online account. So I call in to pay bill instead. They said they would charge me a $4 fee to take payment over phone. I said I am only calling because I can’t pay online. I asked if they would waive fee. They said no exceptions. I asked if anybody could make an exception. They said no. I said even company executives can’t make any exception? Agent said yes even company executives. Really? Who says that with a straight face? This company is failing and not attending to service and necessary infrastructure upgrades. Do some Google searches and look at the rate they are losing subscribers. It’s no wonder. Their fate is obvious. Stay away. There are other options with cellular 4G/5G plans.

I have waited 13 days now to get my internet looked at, waited 12 days for a tech to show up who never came and “completed” my ticket. Called again and have to wait yet another 24 hours for Frontier to call me back to inform me of their line test results before we can take further steps of providing me internet. Not to mention the fact I purchased 12mb( which is terrible) only to receive 5mb because they did not have the available ports. What a joke of a business ran here and after reading the comments, I regret my decision to purchase these services.
