I didn't even know this place existed in Ukiah .

Ukiah totally needs more unique eateries like this place. The empenadas and canastitas and freaking delicious.

BY FAR my favorite ones were the sausage and gravy and the capo canastitas.

They also have an assortment of sauces to compliment the different flavor profiles and were definitely coming back. below is a rated list of the ones we tried.

1.Sausage and gravy: 9/10 Just amazing
2.Chipotle chicken: 6/10 needs more flavor
3.Pepperoni and cheese: 7.5/10 very solid
4.Ham and cheese: 9/10 (10/10 with chimmichuri sauce)
5. Beef: 7/10 flavorful homemade feeling
6. Capo: 10/10 perfect balance of flavor
7. Spinach and cheese: 6/10 serviceable not exciting

They all have baked in labels too it's so cute. Definitely don't miss this place it's a must.

My coworkers and I had lunch at Farola for the first time today. We ordered several kinds of empanadas and sauces and everything was amazing. (The spinach and mushroom empanada with garlic aioli was my favorite, hands down.) In addition to the garlic aioli we also ordered the house hot sauce and rocoto crema. So good! Everyone was happy with their order.
The service is great. They're friendly and welcoming and it's obvious they love the food they put out. The extra touches like their name and the flavor of empanada embossed in the pastry.. super creative. I even went back and picked up dinner for my husband and I tonight. It's THAT good.

I will go to this place again and again. Everything I’ve had is tasty and reminiscent of food I had over years living in South America. Most recently I tried the fugazetta and it is absolutely raveworthy. The proprietors are buena onda always friendly and helpful. Please eat here and help guarantee I’ll keep being able to!

These are truly the best empanadas I’ve ever had! Everything is made with so much love and care, right down to the little letters marked on the empanadas so you can tell them apart – such a thoughtful touch! My favorite were the Canastitas, especially the “Capo,” which was absolutely delicious.

The location itself might seem unassuming from the street, as it's integrated into a bar, but that only adds to its charm. You can sit inside, enjoy your food, and even grab a beer from the bar – a perfect combination of great food and a laid-back atmosphere.

Highly recommend this hidden gem!
