The Downtown Beloit Association has done a magnificent job making the city center of Beloit an inviting, attractive, and enjoyable place. In particular, the Saturday morning Farmer's Market (the 2nd-largest in the state) is especially enjoyable. A wide-variety of interesting and fun vendors (over 85 most weeks) set up shop along several city blocks, and make for a very enjoyable walking tour on a Saturday morning. If you haven't experienced this market, it is worth a special trip.
