Nice venue. Open to the public.

No refreshments or food of any kind. Not even a vending machine.

However, seating, lighting and audio are all excellent.

Many/most shows are 30 bucks which is very reasonable relatively speaking for live entertainment. And anything booked will be pretty good.

So, not 5 stars because there are no refreshments. But 4 stars because in all other respects this is a fantastic venue.

Easy to find, easy to park, easy to get through the line, and the concert we attended (Tucson Pops) was impressive. At least the part with the orchestra was. The reason I gave it only a “4” instead of a “5” was that the part of the evening which used amplified music (a guitarist, singer and piano) was sub-par because there were only two speakers in the auditorium and they hung from the ceiling on either side of the stage. By contrast when the orchestra played, the room was filled with wonderful music.

To make this venue truly memorable (and BTW the seats were marvelous, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than the auditorium at the UofA) Desert View needs to bring their sound system into the 21st Century.

But, it’s a great venue, in general, glad it’s there!

I performed at DVPAC and it was a great experience. The auditorium is quite small though only seating about 300 people. In the back stage there is a small space behind the curtain with two dressing rooms and a shared bathroom. It may be found a bit confusing getting to the Auditorium but the wonderful staff there helped me find my way!

What an excellent facility, great seating ample parking and the folks that volunteer make every effort to be kind and accommodating. That being said I feel it’s necessary to review the CCR tribute people that were preforming last Saturday 3/30 were awful. The singer screamed into the microphone and the musicians didn’t know how to properly play CCR’s music.

You have a great facility and I hope to be back.

A fine place to see acts of various kinds. Comfortable seating, all with good views of the stage. Limited facilities so come prepared to see the show and then leave for other venues, which are limited nearby. Pretty location if you are visiting during the day

Oh my word! 5 does not even come close to describing this performance. I have never before enjoyed a show more than this. The dancing and the music was just superb. It's a wonder how the dancers can move their feet so fast. In summary: BRAVO!

Was able to enjoy a very good live performance.
The show was much better than my expectations and would attend again. We saw a classic rock performance. Nice facilities at this community with a ton of activities. Saw brochures and announcements for everything from fine dining, golf , fitness centers. Library in same building as performance center for resident use. The performances are open to purchase to non residents. Non residents also welcome to play The Preserve golf course and use Preserve Restaurant.
