I brought my vehicle in to Turnerville Nissan for an Air Bag recall. A service employee showed me a video of oil slowly dripping down from my vehicle's transfer case. They wanted nearly $400 to change the transfer case gaskets. I immediately declined, made an appointment with S.A Conte, and dropped it off the night before the morning appointment.

Sal called me when he was done. He informed me that my vehicle was not leaking, but in fact, whoever changed the oil last had spilled motor oil onto the transfer-case and evidently never cleaned it up (Jiffy Lube-never again). Sal cleaned it up, drove it, checked it again, and not one drop leaked. Therefore, I did not have to pay for an alleged or mistaken faulty gasket. Nissan mistakenly thought motor oil was transfer-case oil. ...or did they?

I’ve been taking all 3 family cars to SAConte auto repair for 39 years. At times, one or all of the cars were over 17 years old. No matter what year, make or model, Conte’s has always been able to get me back on the road.
I’ve made appointments, and at times just dropped in unexpectedly, and have always received great personal service.
Sam always explains the problem and when other issues arise on inspection, he calls and gets permission unless you’ve already given blanket approval to do so.
Conte’s has knowledge on all cars and they keep up with evolving technology.

I have an older car that I presented with difficult and challenging problems to diagnose and fix and I have been satisfied every time.
