This quaint Italian grocer and deli has one of the best Italian Beef sandwiches I’ve had in Chicago. Their hot giardiniera is the perfect compliment to thinly shaved, flavorful beef. Conte Di Savoia is definitely a must-visit!!!

Incredible value and customer service! The man who made our sandwiches was very friendly and thoughtful for thinking to add a side of sweet peppers to go along with the hot peppers on the side that we ordered.

The fact that a 12” inch Italian sandwich is only $11 and tasted that good is unheard of downtown. Also the cannolis were the best we have ever had!

I see a lot of people commenting on The Frank, and for good reason. It’s the first ‘specialty’ sandwich I had here and is amazing.

If you’re looking for something more simple, The Contessa is absolutely fantastic. Fresh Mozzarella cheese and Prosciutto Di Parma, with a little lettuce. Adding roasted red peppers is something I like. Photos will never do this sandwich justice! (photo also has extra meat).

So far I haven’t had a sandwich here I didn’t thoroughly enjoy

I which i could upload a picture of my food however it was devoured immediately. My wife saw the deli while picking up coffee and we decided to give it a try. We have now had it four times in the last two weeks. I've gotten the Rosie and my wife the Italian and each time we've have gotten the sandwiches they have been delicious. Our orders have also always been correct which is a PLUS. Can't wait to order again soon!
Also the paninis are a GAME CHANGER

Old school Italian deli and grocery. High quality cuts. Amazing east coast style Italian sub as well as more traditional options like the Contessa: The prosciutto will melt in your mouth. Also very decent meatball and great marinara. .

If you love sandwiches, then Conte di Savoia has to be on your list of places to go. It’s a small Italian grocery and deli that makes some of the best sandwiches in the city. My personal favorite is the Frank, which is toasted to perfection and so flavorful from its fresh cut meats, mozzarella, sun dried tomato, and fresh basil. Watching them hand slice all the meats is an experience by itself. Come try one of the best sandwiches in Chicago!

The Contessa sandwich was absolutely delicious with huge mozz slices and prosciutto. Prices are amazing for the sandwich sizes, lots of choices, great meats! Store has a variety of Italian items and some seating. Can get packed at lunch.
