My company worked with Eric and team both for filming and post-production on a video. He was great on-site and worked to accommodate a somewhat challenging shooting location. On the post-production side, he turned the video around very quickly for us, and even went above and beyond after the video was already approved to tweak and improve some of the audio. From the start to finish of the shoot, Eric inspired me as an attentive, organized, and detailed filmmaker. His patience and willingness to teach were welcoming; not only did he teach me how to set up the equipment I was unfamiliar with, but he also gave me insight into how he pursued his career with passion. It was incredibly refreshing to receive this guidance as a student filmmaker. I was impressed by Eric’s attention to detail, adjusting quickly to unanticipated changes in lighting without hesitation. Eric is a very diligent and focused filmmaker. We worked together on a 2 day shoot where we created instructional videos for VCA. He had a very welcoming and kind attitude towards teaching and showing me the equipment we worked with and provided insight into the reasons why he did things. I was impressed with his ability to roll with the quick paced and impromptu style of videos we were shooting, making sure there was proper coverage while also making sure everything looked great. Overall, Eric is a professional that anyone should be glad to work with!

I'm writing this review as a fellow production professional: Eric and I worked together on a shoot for Insider, who brought in Champion Video Productions as their on-location production partner to shoot in my organization's studio space. He was proactive about reaching out beforehand, and we made a plan so he could come prepared, and still take advantage of the studio gear we had available.
Eric was seamless to work with, from load-in to setup to shooting to load-out. I was acting as lighting/grip, and Eric was happy to incorporate my recommendations as needed, while making confident decisions about the overall direction of the setup. He was extremely detailed in getting the setup to match the client's references, and was just as courteous and professional with myself and the other crew as with the on-camera interviewee.
I'd work with Eric again on any set; I would gladly recommend Champion Video Productions as a primary production vendor, would happily work on one of Eric's sets in the future, and would likewise hire Eric as crew for future shoots I might run as well.
