I had no idea about Carr Valley. I even have a sister that lives in mazo and has for over 40 years ...My wife found it on Google maps as we were traveling from Minneapolis to Edgerton, Wisconsin
I'm thrilled we stopped, we were hungry so we ate in the restaurant before we walked in the cheese shop. Service was outstanding in the Restaurant. Amazing, quick, it was perfect. I feel bad that I forgot my waiter's name but he was fantastic. We had an order of cheese curds. We split a Reuben. The soup that came as a side was phenomenal. We also ordered the onion rings and I've never had onion rings that were that fresh and that light. Inside The cheese shop it was more the same. The manager on duty was Randy and she was fantastic. She told us all about the blue cheeses, the sharp cheese, hers and why the goats and why the yellow and why the white. It was a great experience. I also had an opportunity to buy a very rare 16-year-old, cheddar and white so I bought it and my family will love it.

Three words.... Chipotle Cheese Bread! Nothing she needs to be said! Unbelievable experience of such a creation! Wow!

My husband and I stopped here in the middle of a roadtrip and are so glad we did! What a joy! One of the only cheese stores/creameries that offered samples to taste [and quality ones at that] near the freeway. The ladies we spoke with were so kind, friendly and gosh darn genuine. They even demo'd bread cheese for us to try. The fresh cheese curds were fantastically squeaky, there were many delicious assorted wedge cheese flavors to choose from, and the whole store was clean and well-organized. We left happy with cheesecurds, 16-year-old aged cheddar, pizza bread cheese, and about three flavors of goat/sheep/cow's milk queso. Highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed! We'll be back!!

There's every kind of cheese you could ever want! Great variety and lots of samples to try. The clerk was very friendly! We bought a cooler bag for the cheese. They give you a free ice block for the bag. I definitely recommend this store!

This place is marvelous! Cute little store attached to the factory on a county road close to town. Easy access, nice clean store that is well organized and friendly staff. Great cheese samples! Phenomenal cheese deals, including factory seconds etc. I bought more cheese than I need but I know that I will use it! I will stop by this place every time I am around there, I've been to many cheese factories in Wisconsin and I feel this had the best variety and pricing and is not appearing like a tourist trap like many of the other cheese stores. Stop here you will not be disappointed!

The cheese curds are super squeaky and absolutely amazing! They have an amazing selection and a lot more samples at this store than the other one hint, hint. So you should probably just try them both. The fresh curds are irresistibly addictive according to my best friend. If they're out of cheese curds or something at one store, the other store is likely to have it. It's right off the highway, stop in and check it out.

Saw this place on the side of the road billboard. When traveling through Wisconsin you have to buy cheese. Glad we stopped. Great gifts. I especially enjoyed the many samples to make my choices easier.
