Kelsey is absolutely fantastic as a photographer and as a person. She truly loves her job and her couples. We felt so comfortable and had the most fun with her during our engagement session and our wedding. Her photos are incredible and quite frankly, I am obsessed with our sneak peak. She personalizes her packages to what your wants are, is flexible when needed, and is worth every penny. I happened to find Kelsey’s website after scrolling through Google for what felt like hours, and once I read through Kelsey’s bio, mission, and portfolio, I immediately knew that I wanted her and her skills to capture our wedding day. I think I told Kelsey in my initial inquiry/request that if she took half as much care and intention with her couples as she does her website, that I knew we were going to be in good hands. We did a custom package with Kelsey for eight hours day-of that included a second photographer, a 10” linen wedding album, and an engagement session. Through each planning phone call, email, and then the actual day-of, my (now) husband and I felt every bit of care and intention that was promised. Kelsey and Michele (her assistant) were nothing short of magical. They knew just how to get us comfortable in front of the camera, and I promise, that was no easy task. After the wedding, the turn around for our sneak peak was within three days, and full album shortly after. About a month later, my husband and I met with Kelsey and went through all of the photos (and I’m talking HUNDREDS of them) and created our photo album. It was so easy and thoughtful and quick! Kelsey will be our forever photographer, and I cannot recommend her enough!

Not only are her photos stunning, but she got to know us over the year in between hiring and wedding time and by the time the wedding came around, it felt like hanging out with a good friend all day. From the day we met Kelsey, I’ve been thanking whatever forces are out there that we stumbled upon her. And I do mean stumbled - I probably looked at 50 different photographer websites in our search. We were drawn because her photographic style matched what we were looking for, but we got so much more than a photographer. She made us feel comfortable from the get-go, and her unique approach, including in-person album design, blocking off the whole wedding weekend for us, and her view of becoming our “photographer for life”, locked in our desire to work with Kelsey. Starting with our engagement photos, she was a true partner, advising us on locations, clothing, and scheduling of the day, among other things. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and even got our somewhat neurotic dog to cooperate (no easy feat!) As we geared up for the big day, Kelsey became even more valuable - reaching out just to see how we were doing, answering our small and large questions, sending little gifts along the way, and helping us with any needs, photography related or not. Kelsey was also the one who connected us with some of our other major vendors (most importantly, our videographer). She worked with us to make sure things happened when we wanted them, to have the people present (or not) exactly when and where we wanted (or didn’t want) them, and to make sure we got the wedding — and photos — we were dreaming of. She remembered little details and offhand comments, some that I didn’t even recall myself. Throughout the process, Kesley’s excitement for us was apparent in everything she did, from the questions she asked us, to the social media sneak peaks and posts, to (of course) the photos themselves. Speaking of which — I haven’t even mentioned the pictures themselves! Of all the uncertainties in our wedding, we never doubted that the photos would be incredible — and Kesley certainly did not disappoint. While we are only a week out from the wedding and haven’t received the final gallery yet, we know from the engagement photos and the sneak peak we have seen that Kelsey captured everything beautifully. We truly can’t imagine going through this process without Kelsey by our side, documenting this day.
