Carlos was having a bad day (November 27, 2024) apparently. But even so, why take it out on a customer? We have used C&S for years. They have changed the locks in our house. I have purchased keyed door handles and other items. All was good.

But to tell a customer to hurry up is not appropriate no matter how bad your mood.

I am sorry, Carlos, that my $21.52 order took up almost 10 minutes of your time. I'm sorry that I wanted to check out my truck key to see if it actually worked. Sorry for wasting your time. But don't worry. I won't be bothering you again

You know, a smart human reaches a point and goes. Crap in over my head let's go see a professional. And I found one. I miss the days of people that took pride in there work and did outstanding jobs. But I today world the job done is enough. They could have been exceptional but the job was done and that's enough ( it only took me not at all the professional 14 minutes to put my door back together. I understand I brought it that way. But as people bring me there problems half sorted all the time. It would have been nice to see a place thay cared a little and really did the great job)

I am the owner of an HOA Management company which has been in business for 25 years. Currently 36 of our 95 communities use c&s locksmith. That changed today. I found out yesterday from a lady who claimed to be the manager that they do not honor the “do not duplicate” system. Her actual words were “that is our key slab, if someone comes in with an Id, we will make a copy for them.” Defeating the whole purpose of the “do not duplicate” system. Our clients trust us with the security of their property and as a Community Manager / Owner, we have a fiduciary responsibility to our clients. Therefore I have instructed all managers to never use them again.

The locksmith took his time and worked on my lock and finally got it working. Very patient and focused. I also learned Graphite and silicone are not recommended for door/keyed locks, so I bought a can of Teflon spray while there. Thank you C&S !

I had an antique door lock that came with the house I bought, and it never had a key. C&S were able to make a key that fit it and many multiples within just a few hours. They are very skilled and are primarily concerned about taking care of a customer rather than trying to just rake in money. I'll be recommending them to everyone!
