Alex is simply phenomenal! From the start, he went above and beyond for us, arriving early to scout the venue and pinpointing all the best photo spots to capture our day. He knew exactly how to guide us for those perfect, timeless shots, and his knack for getting the kiddos to look at the camera (and even smile!) was impressive. He didn't just document the day—he captured the magic. From epic photos with a 100-year-old tree to stunning shots with Mount Rainier and the breathtaking sunset, Alex ensured we’d have memories that felt as grand as the day itself.

My husband isn't a fan of photoshoots, but after seeing our spectacular engagement shoot with Alex, he was fully on board—'you can't argue with results!' Even when the groomsmen were hesitant about a pose, my husband was quick to assure them that Alex knew exactly what he was doing. And he did! Alex made the shoot fun, bringing out genuine laughter and smiles that made every photo feel authentic and heartfelt.

One of my favorite parts was turning our engagement photos into a guest book, thanks to Alex’s idea, which we now cherish with the beautiful messages from our friends and family. It’s a treasure we’ll keep forever. Alex is truly incredible, and I can’t wait for the next opportunity to work with him!

Having Alex shoot your special moments feels more like partnering with a close friend (who just happens to be a photography wizard), than working with some random vendor. He's genuine, fun, lighthearted, and has a never ending supply of energy! We couldn't be happier with our photos and have been eagerly showing them off to everyone in our circle of family and friends.

While most photographers only specialize in capturing bright/vivid images OR dark/dramatic images, Alex has the talents to do BOTH (which is why my wife and I decided to select him over all other photo vendors in the first place). He patiently coached us through various posses to take the guesswork out of our sessions, and additionally took a ton of candid/action shots that came out incredible.

Alex has been right by our side to capture our biggest milestones as a couple: my surprise proposal, our engagement photo session (which consisted of 3 Seattle locations/3 outfit changes in just 2 hours), and our wedding (in Hawaii!!)...and there is not a doubt in my mind that we will ALWAYS seek out Alex for all future celebrations!!

I had a hard time finding a photographer at first because there are so many photographers whom to pick.
However I happened to see Alex's Studio's portfolio and was completely hooked by those photos. I love photos that were capturing the happiest moments.
The photos in his portfolio are exactly what I wanted. Everything was perfect, including the natural our facial expressions, color, and pose and atmosphere that matched the venue.

Alex is superb! He did our engagement including unlimited photos, a 1 and 7 minute highlight trailer, and full ceremony function video. He has all the requisite equipment including cameras, audio recording, lighting, etc., and is able to do photography, videography, editing all by himself. His prices were very reasonable, and he’s able to work with you based on your budget and requirements.

On the day of the event, he arrived early to make sure the equipment was properly set-up, and stayed late ensuring all of our moments were beautifully captured. He’s kind, funny, and lightens the mood. He guided us providing us with clear instructions on how to position ourselves and where to look during the photoshoot, and capturing multiple different angles. When he’s videotaping, he’s subtle so as not to ruin the moment or the guests experience, but does a masterful job capturing the memories and then putting it all together seamlessly. He has great experience and has worked with clients from all backgrounds and budgets.

This is truly his passion, and he’s not in it for the money. Alex is very receptive to feedback and is going to work with you ensure he exceeds your expectations. His work is of the utmost quality.

Additionally, he is very quick without compromising quality in the slightest. His turnaround time was within days because he wants to make sure he can deliver you the memories to share with friends and family sooner than later, before it becomes old news. Most photographers or videographers take months on end. We were beyond satisfied with our experience!

Alex has a singular enthusiasm and great energy to be around. Communication was fantastic all around. The indoor studio experience was fun, even with a baby-- Alex had plenty of tricks to focus our 10 month old and win him over, and kept us laughing and talking the whole hour. He provided the perfect amount of instruction regarding what to do with our hands or how to angle our feet; his dedication to detail and preparation was much appreciated. And the photos themselves came out so well!!

Pricing is on par with other photographers in the area, but the value of going with Alex can't really be overstated. He gave us over 200 digital photos from a roughly one-hour shoot with 7 people, in a shorter turnaround time than I could've imagined. I highly recommend him!

Alex took some beautiful photos of us at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Alex was very patient and gave good instructions on how to pose. We got many ( over 250) photos in the 30 min. session and are very pleased. He is very patient with young kids and knows how to get their attention. Alex is very skilled and has lots of experience, he for sure will be my ongoing photographer that I will pick. I drove over 1 hour to meet him, the longer drive is worth it to get the good value of photos he gives you, pricing is very good and resonable.
