Mike has been exceptional! Not only does he know what he is talking about but he also does meticulous work down to every last detail. He built custom speakers that fit exactly in the space that we requested and they look amazing. We use to watch a movie with subtitles but now we get to enjoy the film instead of reading it. The sounds come from every direction. Half the time we think there is someone ringing our doorbell or a plane is flying over our house. When we watch a concert on you tube it sounds better than if we were actually there. His speakers make mundane chores fly by. We started out just wanting speakers installed in one room but ended up having four rooms done. We cannot say enough about Mike and the work he does. We really appreciated his honesty and respectfulness. We are extremely happy with the final results!!

I contacted Mike when we were interested in upgrading our home surround system. He reviewed our requirements and recommended a new Yamaha AV system and a cd/dvd player as well as one of his custom-built sub-woofer units. I had anticipated that we would be installing new speakers, but Mike felt that what we had was more than adequate. The fact that he was not over selling me something that was not required was refreshing and said a lot about his integrity. The resulting sound quality was outstanding, and we couldn't be more satisfied. The components were delivered on time and the follow up customer service was first rate. I found Mike Knows Audio thru yelp and google. I decided to ask for an estimate for a custom A/V system for the living room and backyard. I wanted in-ceiling speakers for the living room as well as in the kitchen so the flow of sound can feel like it’s seamless throughout the whole house and the backyard.
First Mike asked about my budget and to be honest I didn’t do a lot of research on how much custom A/V systems can cost. I’m glad he asked me so I have an idea on how much I can save to afford what I was looking for.
Like all my other home projects, I went ahead and asked 2 different A/V companies on yelp for estimates just to compare what product they’ll be providing and the cost of labor. None of those 2 companies asked about my budget and to find out their estimate was higher than Mikes. One of the companies did not want to cut out dry wall to install speakers and offered a Bluetooth system instead. The other company advised that I would have to hire an electrician to install electrical outlet for the outdoor tv. This made my decision easy and chose Mike to get everything I wished for.
Mike and his team absolutely knocked this project out of the park. The project took about 2.5 days to cut out dry wall to install in-ceiling speakers and to connect the whole system together. Everything was professionally installed with no wires or mess to be seen. All the wires behind the tv stand are neatly organized and tucked away. The quality of sound with the product he used went beyond my expectation. I’m so excited that I can now have a small concert or night club at my house when I ever want.

This is the second home theater install Mike has done for me and I’m extremely pleased with the install and his recommendations on the right speakers, subwoofer and the Bravia 100” TV that has an amazing picture. Mike also took the time and optimized the sound quality after the installation. Mike’s Audio is the only place go for a home theater system .
