Jason and his team at Sound Production were without a doubt the best DJs I have ever had the pleasure of working with for a big event. Jason's meticulous attention to details, professional pre-event planning and overall care and concern for our wishes for the evening helped make this one of the best gatherings I have ever had the privilege of hosting. This was a first wedding for both of us and we wanted to ensure all our guests enjoyed the music, from the youngest to the oldest. Jason didn’t just meet this expectation he exceeded it. We tried to walk around to tables to greet our guests in smaller groups and we had a difficult time because they were on the dance floor the entire night. In fact, One of the best testaments to this came from a guest who said “I danced so much that night that I physically just couldn’t dance anymore.” Moreover, we have had numerous calls from guests who said “your DJ was awesome!” I guess Jason's secret sauce is that he knows his audience, takes their cues, tastefully engages them and creates an unbelievably fun environment. ON a scale from 1-10, Jason and his team are definitely an 11+.

I am so happy that I hired Sound Productions to DJ my wedding! I was at the Bridal Expo at Soaring Eagle in Mount Pleasant, and I was so fortunate enough to see them in action during the bridal gown dress show and I didn't need to look any further. Jason and Garrett were so awesome to work with. There are so many details that go into a wedding, having a team that guides you and makes sure you don't miss anything makes it go smooth for you but them as well. I had some specific music selections for my ceremony, and it was PERFECT! Jason and his crew are top notch. Ive been to several weddings and events he’s DJ’d over the years, thats why i knew when it came time for my own wedding he was the man for the job. He was even contacting me while he was in germany on vacation with his family to make sure we had everything in place. I can’t say enough good things about Sound Productions, and our DJ Jason at our wedding!! We lost power 3 hours before the ceremony and instead of waiting around to see what would happen next Jason set up in the dark, which I’m sure wasn’t easy!

And when the power did come on, he made everything smooth from start to finish. He even got drinks from the bar for me and my husband. His ability to read the room was impeccable. He knew exactly when to slow things down for and when to kick the energy up a notch to get everyone moving, and when to use the smoke machine! Lol. Everyone I see still says we hired an awesome DJ, and I agree!!

We also got the photo booth and that was so fun! They saved a copy for us to keep of every photo and it’s so fun to look through!

I discovered Sound Productions at a Bridal Expo in Bay City. They were very interactive & friendly (Jason & Garrett), so I was eager to reach out! They have the best pricing, and they sent an online wedding planner, so everything was very organized. They also include many other services in addition to the music. We opted for the video guestbook & our guests loved it!! Garrett called before the wedding to run through everything, and it was clear that he understood my vision perfectly.

The ceremony music was flawless & the reception music was ready before cocktail hour. Garrett followed the timeline to the exact minute & was a fantastic DJ! My guests could not say enough good things about the song choices! He also came out on the dance floor to teach us the moves to The Git Up!! 😊 As the Bride, I danced ALL NIGHT & I had the time of my life. Trust me, you will not regret booking with these guys!! 💖

Jason was the DJ for our wedding; he did an amazing job. He was super friendly even though it was our first time meeting him, and he helped make everything run very smoothly! He was very flexible with the reception timeline and with moving his equipment around, as the weather wasn’t ideal. He continually checked in with us making sure we were okay to move to the next event. There was never a dull moment with his music choices, either. Highly recommend!

We just had Sound Productions do our wedding in Midland a couple weeks ago and they were OUTSTANDING. I'm from Grand Rapids originally, and I would tell all my friends it's worth paying them to make the drive to come to their weddings.

We had Jason do our wedding, but I worked with a few of their teammates throughout the process, and everyone was great. The details right up front were super clear, they helped plan the whole reception order, and made sure things ran well. They genuinely cared about our big day, and it showed!

During the wedding, they kept the dance floor going with high energy, knew how to feel out the crowd, and they had fun along with us! When they weren't DJing - they even got the wedding party drinks! Top notch service - very impressed!
