Gwen Frostic is my favorite shop to visit. It brings back special memories, while making new. It was great seeing two men running the presses..the sound and ink smell is the best. Thank you for continuing Gwen's art.

I personally knew Gwen and I have a house full of her artwork and books. I love her designs and cherish my memories of chatting with her every summer, starting when I was a little girl visiting the store with my grandmother. I have mixed emotions about the shop as it is today. They have a beautiful display about Gwen, which is a lovely tribute. The presses are still printing, and they have a very nice selection of her work. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is pleasant. Unfortunately, the overwhelming smell of damp that pervades is unpleasant. I wish they would cut back a lot of the overgrowth that surrounds the building so it would dry up some. I do appreciate that they have kept the mini pond and the letters to Gwen from around the world.

The stars are out of respect for Gwen's work and her studio/store, which are well worth consideration and a visit in person...and distinct from the online store. The lukewarm review is for the large stationery order I placed online just after Thanksgiving: many of the cards delivered were different than what was pictured online. I'm not as happy with the finishing and paperstock, either. I followed up twice and didn't get any reply at all. Meanwhile, I'm getting promo emails every few days for even deeper discounts...? I appreciate this is a small business and a labor of love. I'm only too happy to spend on Gwen's work and legacy, but if running a business that's cashing in on holiday shopping, it's reasonable for customers to expect they will get what they buy and mistakes will be fixed. For my part, I'd happily wait longer and pay for a correct order with better quality.

I've always loved coming here since I was a child and love that they still keep the spirit of Gwen alive. They still use the machines to print on from long ago and you can view them while browsing the store. Very rustic and a good ole nature feel. One of my favorites year after year.

Such a fun shop full of great things to give as gifts!! Not to mention that everything is beautiful. They have notebooks, greeting cards, calendars, stationary, stickers, and more. The building itself is worth going and checking out because it is so unique and very earthy. You can even see the actual printing presses they use for all of their prints. It would have been cool to see them going.

A really cool art gallery that I did not know existed in this area. I was brought here by a friend of mine. Super unique with some really old printing equipment. Definitely worth a stop!

I grew up with Gwen Frostic prints - my family always had her stationary on hand and we would go there to visit when we were in the area. I’m sorry to say that the quality of the products have gone completely down hill in the last few years. I purchased over 150 cards large cards by mail and intended to use them as invitations.

But the cards that I received were a thinner card stock, they had no decorative deckle edge, and the print was missing a good portion of the original details and color. Sadly, they looked like a cheap knockoff of the original print that I had from years ago.
