Nice, but what have you done to the east side sidewalk renovations at Gatsby's, etc? Bay City removed the shade trees? Why? Do you not pay attention to what other cities are doing to their pedestrian areas? They make them more green and walkable. Who redoes their downtown areas and removes shade and aoftness in favor of more heat and concrete right where people would normally gather to eat and relax?

As a frequent Texas tourist in Michigan, I've heard how Bay City is turning into a ghost town. On my way to Alpena, MI I decided to exit I-75 and explore Bay City. I didn't realize when I was crossing the Vermont Street bridge, I would receive a toll bill for $5.50 in the mail, at my condo in Alpena. Apparently you must charge by the foot, because the Mackinaw bridge is 5 miles long and it's only $4.00, with a great view. Now I understand why your city is becoming a ghost town. It's not the $5.50 but now I have to get my check book, write you a check and mail it. You will never see me in your city again.

Just had a lovely get away with a girlfriend to this surprising city. I did not have any expectations when we picked this city randomly. Every shopkeeper went above and beyond.From our first stop at Omoni,Uptown Girl,Little House and I wish I could remember all the other shops, the 2 restaurants we went to MiTable and Real Seafood ( a shout out to Jennifer) to the thrift store that supports our Vets. An amazing community. Almost forgot the great hospitality at Hampton Inn.
As a side note, this is my first time to review any place. But I had to spread the good vibes I got from Bay City!

The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is a very important and well run organization under the leadership of Ryan , Jesse and their entire team. We here at Hammer Restoration greatly value our membership with the Bay Area Chamber. We have made many business contacts and relationships through the years by being involved with the excellent organization. They consistently have excellent programs and events that give you great opportunities to learn and network with other good business here in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Bay County and the Great Lakes Region are better places to live, work and play due to the excellent , constant work the Bay Area Chamber does.

We attended the Tall Ships festival July 14th, 15th and 16th. We were very impressed with how efficiently and smoothly everything was run. Also very impressed with how many volunteers were involved and how friendly they were. A lovely city with beautiful architecture, great shops and food. It was just a lovely visit.

I joined this organization a little over a year ago! If you have a business you should join too! It's a great way to meet new people! The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will not disappoint. Worth everything I've put into it!
