I have exhibited my (paper dresses and oil paintings) work here in juried and invitational exhibitions numerous times. Wonderful and personable gallery. Very talented Michigan artists show here, and the openings are so much fun. Studio 23 teaches a wonderful variety of classes at all levels.

It was my first visit inside Studio 23. I stopped specifically to see the Tribute to Bay City in Lego's which was amazingly done! I did not realize how much local talent they highlight or that you could take art lessons or that children could do art themed birthday parties there. How cool is that! Will definitely be stopping in more often.

Emily at the front desk is very rude and condescending. Tried to explain something very simple to her and she wanted to argue about it. Sorry honey I know how to do my job. Thank you though. Have the day you deserve.

Was here for painting class. Made us feel like we could create anything, and that all our paintings were wonderful. We really enjoyed it.

The staff are very friendly and the changing galleries are incredible. Free admission and just a great place to stop in every so often to admire a variety of arts. And lots of local art! This place is one of the coolest are museums I have gone to and it's right near the water and several coffee shops. Wonderful place!

Studio 23 is a great place to be if you love art. I take classes there and the teacher is very helpful and nice. They change their exhibits frequently. They have fun workshops and contests. The art is displayed all around the studio, if your looking for an art class this is the place. I highly recommend it if you love art.

Gallery is great, the lady at the front desk was rude and didn't want to help at all. Purchased a painting, then AFTER she told me that it may not be a week until I'm able to get it, since it's still on display (I'm not from around here, and wouldn't have been able to come back to pick it up). She asked me if I wanted it wrapped, like obviously, I paid 200$ for a painting.

I attended the "Sip and Swirl" event and found it very enjoyable. As someone who lacks experience in painting, I was never worried about falling behind or messing up. The instructor was friendly, knowlegdable, and kept a good pace. This made it easy to focus on having a good time. I can't wait to do it again!
