I went to multiple and called multiple places my son is legally blind and his glasses are expensive insurance does not cover whole bill my son broke the arm on his glasses and no one could help except these wonderful people what a blessing so thankful

UPDATE 2021:
I'm STILL making these trips back and forth for their expertise and swiftness. I am 'hard to please' with most purchases/services, as I expect near perfection for my money. C & J is still exceeding my expectations after roughly 10 years.

I've used C&J for YEARS. We moved out of Merced 4 years ago and I've been searching high and low for a place like this, with no luck. I decided to make the hour long drive (each way) due to their swiftness, pricing and overwhelmingly evident expertise.

I dropped my own frames off on a Tuesday, they were ready on Wednesday and shipped out to me the same day. I received them at my door by Saturday.

It literally doesn't get any better than these folks. They can order just about anything (I know, I had them order several frames over the years) your heart desires.

I HIGHLY recommend C&J, and I've had experiences at several different facilities. I won't be going anywhere else ever again.

It was my first time at C&J optical and it is the best place ever! The girl helped me out and was really kind! She got my insurance info and I gave her the frame I loved and 3 hours later they were ready!! They’re AWESOME!! I definitely recommend this place if you’re into High-end brands for glasses
