DONT TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. Let’s start off by saying I don’t usually give negative reviews to small businesses because I know that it could make or break their business but this one is called for. Being an event planner/ designer , I’ve contracted with Ali multiple times to take photos and videos for my events. Recently, I had a customer reach out to him to get him booked for her event. Leading up to her event her and I both let him know exactly what to take pictures of, as there were many small details that we wanted to capture. He told my customer that he would have to bring extra help to take videos while he took the photos , as he couldn’t do both at once. During our event, he did the exact opposite. He was in charge of video while someone else was in charge of the photos. It was really busy so we weren’t able to notice. two weeks passed and we receive our photos…my customer literally cried. This guy brought a friend to take photos who had no sense of photography whatsoever. He didn’t get any pictures of my backdrops. He didn’t get any picture of the cake. He didn’t get any picture of ANY decor. When we asked about certain things like an ENTRANCE table he said he didn’t see it. Everything he did take was at an angle. He was seen getting drunk at the event and just standing around the whole time( with guest photo proof )while the host of the party kept telling him to snap pictures. When asked for pictures of the bar or custom made bar sign he said he didn’t know there was an area for drinks…. The only area in the building to grab a drink. He sent us a file with unedited images. 723 to be exact. All of repetitive photos and none that captured my event. When my customer voiced her concerns with him, he said that he would refund her $200 of the $600 she spent. Which made no sense to us because we had 1) no images of anything other than guests. 2) no decor photos and 3) no pictures of anything as a whole only snip its. He knew what he did was wrong and he tried to compensate it with a 13 minute long video.
He then blocked my customer when she was asking him for a full refund.

Months of hard work, thousands of dollars spent with nothing to show for. If you care to capture your special moments at all, this guy isn’t the one.
