I have been working for DBC America for over a year now and absolutely love it. This is a super fun job where I get to make my own schedule and share my knowledge and passion of different beverages to others! The managers and event assistance team are great at making sure you have everything you need to complete an event. If you are outgoing, motivated, and like to get paid to have fun then this is the job for you!

I would NOT work for this company in Cincinnati. The level of favoritism and unprofessionalism is unreal. I was first brought on to work for this company and I was extremely excited. The Job its self is fun. Dealing with this company, management in Cincinnati and getting paid not so much.

On multiple occasions - Which I have screenshots and proof. I would reach out to the state manager and she would be unresponsive. I would go days, sometimes longer than a week without hearing a response.

The company shows favoritism and hand selects people for certain jobs allowing them the option to pick before they put the list of opportunities out to everyone else.

Allowing a certain person to work the majority of the "good" events... luckily I was friends with one of the "favorites" so l was able to work as well but I heard from other "contractors" how unfair it was. I was always happy to work last minute or pick up an event when an emergency came up for someone else - Life Happens.

I was put on a four hour golf event last minute as they needed someone and it took almost two months to get paid. Once I started complaining after a month about this it was a downwards slope.

I was "let go" 2 weeks later without any notice because I had a vital emergency come up - (which I NEVER called off and got covered) I can't tell you how many shifts or people in the company I've had to do this for.
I was good at my job, picked up lots of events, brought people on and did a good job with pictures and recaps. A lot of reps gave me their personal cell phone numbers and would tell me how great of a job I was doing. The company as a whole might not be terrible but I can tell you Cincinnati is not managed well at all.
When I called corporate and expressed that I was upset and I felt like it was unfair. She said because she is in Michigan she doesn't know whats happening in Cincinnati and there was nothing I could do about it being upset or filing a complaint because I am an independent contractor.

At the end of the day this company can say it was my "lack of professionalism and customer feedback" but If that was the case I'm not sure why I was put on so many events and requested by certain reps.

I have worked for this company for almost 10 years now, the amount of professionalism, the organization approach, the highest communication, and the amazing people I worked with along the way has made working for this agency so great!!! I’ve worked some really cool events, I’ve made great friends and had friends join the team!!! Education on brand knowledge and the training we have is bar none. I have been with DBC for almost 2 years now and working with them is great! The staff is very helpful and I love that we get our materials delivered to our house early enough to plan for events. The wide variety of events is nice, and I enjoy the promotional work! Staff works with us to be flexible on schedule changes if necessary which is very much appreciated. Recaps are easy to submit and payments are provided in a timely manner.
