Worst reality I've ever worked with. I have an I problem told him I couldn't read in black and white. They flat out refused to write the contracts in black and white. I gave $500 for the contract at the time of the signing. I was told then it would be a $108000 and they pay the closing. Come to find out, I had to pay half the closing. They did nothing but lie. It took forever for them to get the termite inspection. She went on vacation hard to find and hard to get ahold of the realtor that they assigned. I never got to even talk to avoid this company like the plague they also refused to give me my five hundred dollars back because of them lying on the contracts

I was referred to New Beginnings by a friend and got the pleasure of speaking with Mechelle Padgett. When I explained our situation she listened and sympathized instead of being dismissive. I will never forget her kindness and should we ever need to move again within town I will call her immediately. I definitely recommend New Beginnings!

In March of 2022 my family moved into one of their homes (1627 Ohio Street in Terre Haute). Upon moving into the house they knew we had 4 small children & another one the way. Fast forward 3 months being in the house our kids test positive for LEAD POISONING. The health department came out & tested the house & found lead paint in front of both doors as well as my children’s bedroom window frame! The health department told them they were to fix the issues. We dealt with the health department & this horrible property management for 3 months & the lead paint was never FULLY taken care of, but they still wanted their rent. We were told we could break our lease early, but they weren’t going to help us find another home EVEN THOUGH THEIR HOUSE GOT MY KIDS SICK!! We left in November & the lead was still in the house upon leaving. We never got any money back because they said we owed for trash & the carpet had stained spots from my young children (normal). When we moved into the house the tiles in the shower were falling out & they were told & even came to see the house & never did anything about the tiles either. Update the house SOLD 5/19/2023 & the window frame with the lead paint WAS NOT PAINTED!!!! There is STILL lead in that home. They replaced everything that was wrong in the house while we was there PLUS more to sell the house, but yet the family of 5 who dealt with a BUNCH of unnecessary trauma..we are still struggling since we HAD to leave the home for our children’s safety in the WORST time to find another house. Do NOT trust these people with your children’s health!!! & if you bought that house & see this…PLEASE watch your children if you have any.
