I am looking forward to applying with L.J. Michaels. They have quite a few houses for rent that are reasonably priced especially in this economy. The owner was also very quick to respond to my email about a listing. Keeping my fingers crossed that we find a nice home!

I sold my home today, and Connie Milam represented my buyer. It was clear to me through the process and closing that Connie cared deeply about her client and she was determined to help them find a good home. I can't imagine Connie giving less than the best service to all of her buyers and sellers!

I didn’t live at 825 S Prospect but everything said about it is very true. I would go to visit my boyfriend there and the house was already a dump when he moved in and they promised him many times they would fix stuff but never did. After he moved out they charged him $10k in damages that he didn’t do. The judge sided with Cy Marlow automatically and didn’t give my boyfriend a chance to tell his side of the story. I’ve went to the LJ michaels office a few times with him and the management was extremely rude every single time ( especially Cy’s daughter and Marie). I talked to someone else who went through them and the same exact thing happened. They move you into a dump and promise to fix it up until you move out and charge you for everything that was messed up before moving in. If i could give negative stars i would. Cy should win slumlord of the century. ALSO THEY SOMEHOW MADE IT TO WHERE MY BOYFRIENDS REVIEW DOESNT SHOW BC OF HOW ACCURATE IT WAS. it took them MONTHS TO FIX THE CEILING he couldn’t even stay there bc of how bad it was at certain points raccoon feces would fall down and you could here them up there at night. no one ever came to inspect he would have to wait weeks for maintenance to come. he did withhold rent because of the fact they weren’t fixing things and the house was becoming inhabitable so they decided to charge him thousands to fix stuff he didn’t cause. he was also told at one point and i was there when he was told by CY Marlow he was one of the only properties they received rent from so they probably just needed the money because they were going in the hole. they only rating filled all the way is the 1 star rating for a reason.

One of the worst companies in business.. they appraised a 475k 2200 sqft dollar brick home newly remodeled for 250k with 10 acres of land. It had a nice 2 acre pond and huge bucks on the property. They have no clue about real estate. Better choose someone else .

I lived in one of the properties held by LJ Michael’s at 724 South 4th Street. This property was extremely dirty when they gave it to me. When I complained they told me I could live somewhere else which I could not do at the time. In addition, the roof in the main bedroom leaked repeatedly which I asked to be fixed on several occasions. I moved out left the place spotless with no trash and they will not return the months rent to me or a response regarding my deposit. I am so thankful God has released me from this town and I would never do business with these people. Find a rental through another company if you can.

My friend and i lived in his rental until fire destroyed it a couple weeks ago. Shes disabled and has to have care 24/7 and he has always fixed anything that broke except for one time. But since the fire that destroyed most everything we owned every time we try to see him hes not in and the staff says they know nothing about him helping with another place or deposit back or working with us to see what we can save from the fire. I am going to try to talk to him tomorrow and will update this once i find out something. I hope he isnt like the way he is described in some of these reviews.

Best Real Estate firm in Terre Haute. I had a rental property in Terre Haute for over 10 years. Used three other property management companies in Terre Haute and they were all a nightmare. Once I started using L. J. Michaels it was a dream come true. They stayed on top of everything. Kept me informed and up to date with all aspects of my rental property. They have their own in house maintenance team that do amazing work. They have over a hundred rentals they either own or manage. I love their office staff, such a joy to work with.
I had tried to sell my property several times before with different realtors with no luck. Once I put it in the hands of L. J. Michaels, they went over and beyond to make the property more attractive to potential buyers. The property sold quickly and for more than I had hoped.

LJ Michaels Real Estate is a joke.I am a handicap 55 year old and I was applying for the property at 821 N 13 1/2 St Terre Haute In.I was working with an agent named AJ out of the LJ Michaels Real Estate at 1700 block of Wabash St.So here’s what happen they took my deposit on 12/03/19 . AJ told me I was approved, Now today the Owner of LJ Michaels calls and stated that they wasn’t going to lease the property to me.Mr Marlow refuse to give me my deposit back.And I have never signed a lease with them.So they ask for a deposit and I gave it to them I have a receipt and then they deny me the property but kept my deposit. This is wrong.No where on my receipt does it say my deposit was non refundable.Please be very careful dealing with lJ Michaels they are not a honest business.
