I would type out a detailed account of how bad this company sucks but they have taken enough of my time trying to get the service I pay for working. So let me just say don't use them if you have any other choice

Spectrum is the only cable company in town so if you want WI-FI you have no other real choice. I think the service and reliability of the service would improve fast if another cable company could offer service in Albertville! I am calling the mayor to push him on the subject today. Let us all call Tracy Honea and ask for some competition in the cable industry!

I do not believe I have ever encountered reviews of a company or service rated a one and so much negative text. However, I do believe that is the proper overall rating for this company. I have not had any service provided by spectrum except for internet for many years. The only reason I have spectrum internet is that they are the only cable internet service available in my area.
My recent experience was for cell phone service and they were the same old corupt company I encountered many years back. Their agents will lie and deceive you on a level which I have never experienced. Their agents will lie and deceive you in every way possible way in order to get your money. I recently tried their cell phone service along with an iPhone se. The cell phone was much to small and not compatible with my hands and they agreed to accept return of the phone. I returned the phone and cancelled my cell service with spectrum. They were supposed to provide me a complete refund of my monies. They did not!! They attempted to charge my credit card $235 as they stated that they could not resell the phone. They stated that the phone had a smear on the screen which it did not. After discussions with several agents and the last person I spoke with was Dale to which he promised that he would have a higher-level manager return my call within 48 hours who would be Supervisor Rodney or Troy and would call within 48 hours. That was December 22nd and I am still awaiting that call. All of the spectrum/charter employees will lie and attempt to deceive you with the intent of tiring you and stalling until you simply go away. I have contacted my credit card company and they are not allowing charter to charge this scam to my card. I have had numerous problems with the spectrum/charter tv service which is a reminder of my past bad experiences with that deceptive company. Please be advised that spectrum/charter has a sordid past of scamming people back to March 28 2009. The company went public and all of a sudden, the stock began a death spiral which I believe was a planned part of their deceptive business goal. The stock went to zero and the investors lost billions of dollars. I was one of those investors which lost approximately $35,000. They again went public for the second time with the stolen monies. The bottom line is that spectrum/charter stole the investors’ money. I talked with the Security and exchange commission (SEC) and they informed me that unfortunately what spectrum/charter did was shameful but legal. I am advising everyone that spectrum/charter is a corrupt and dishonest company which should be avoided at all costs.
This company has absolutely no integrity.

I've been a "Good Customer" for over 20 years. In the past 3 years, I've had to report over 10 problems & complaints. Relating to their workers (at store & in call), services I purchased, equipment rental, repairs, & payments. Not just once, but several times!! 2019/3, 2020/3, 2021/2, 2022/3. .... I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE !! .... IF can avoid them, you will save yourself from the stress, being treated with disrespect, & the time you'll waste having to deal with THEIR mistakes!! ... I was told by three different customer service agents that they had never heard of a physical location running out of modems. However this location didn't seem like they were able to help me with anything. The people at the counter didn't seem like they wanted to be at work. I had a much more pleasant experience with their call center even having to hold for an hour. My advice is don't go to this location if you can avoid it.

After years of problems with our cable it has finally been fixed. I have lost count at the number of technicians who kept saying over and over that we didn't need a new line outside. Finally got a good tech who ran a line and he fixed it. And after all these years of problems we get a $30 credit. Not including the present technician this business is lazy and cheap.

Really not worthy of a rating. The guys that install you cable are very nice some cleaner than others however the office people are the pits. I had my cable removed and went back to the best Scottsboro Cable

Price goes up yearly. I expected it to after the promotional offer. But, it kept on going up $5+ a year. I cancelled them in July 2020 when it went up again to $35 more per month. Not worth it to me.
