Chucks integrity and a promise is lacking. I came in late September for an estimate to have my drivers bucket seat repaired. It’s half leather and half cloth and I needed one quartered of the leather replaced. The details were on the estimate for $450.00. I came in mid December to have the work done and when it was finished, only half of the leather was replace, the upper part of the seat was spray painted. I noticed this and after some confusion between Chuck and his wife, Chuck agreed to refund $150.00 and complete the work promised when I could find the time. In the spring I stopped by and showed him how the painted seat was wearing, just as an fyi. Again, $150.00 was agreed upon. After being under the weather for 4 months this summer, I finally got back to my list of things to do. I went in on 10-16 and the price of him completing the work that he overlooked was at a higher price of $225.00. When I dropped off the car on 10-17, I showed him my paper work and he was argumentative and smug. Told me if I didn’t want to do it, that was ok. Also, if I had walked in off the street today, it would have been $600.00 instead of $450.00. If he hadn’t been across the street and I wasn’t sure if another could match the leather color and grain, I would have gone else where. I hope the extra $75.00 and his lack of integrity is worth this review.

I own a 2008 Toyota XLE. 199,000 miles. Original owner. As you can imagine, it was time to replace the worn out leather drivers side seat. C&L Upholstery was recommended to me by Carlife. I took a trip down to their shop. I met the owner, Chuck and his wife, Julia. I was quoted a price in the beginning and that was the exact price at the end of the job. Honest and professional. No hidden fees and always there to answer all my questions. When the job was done, I drove away. The next day I found a couple small areas that needed attention. I brought the car back to them and without even a second thought, Chuck brought it back in to the shop and took care of it to my satisfaction. A terrific couple to deal with and I was totally satisfied with the final product. The seat is quite comfortable again!! Highly recommend them.

Absolute awesome job, great owners.

Was in dire need of help, as another shop butchered my dash board and caked it in something. Met with owner Chuck and he showed me around the shop, and some of his other work. Was amazingly good and really impressed. Just got my dash back and installed and it is beautiful. Best part of this project so far.

I plan 100% on him doing the rest of my car and my wife's Corvette.

Took my 2014 Honda Ridgeline in. Both front leather seats and front armrests were worn out. Chuck gave me a very competitive quote. I brought my truck in and had it back the same day. So far so good. Everything seems great and it's nice to have an older car looking new again. Thanks Chuck.

I’m relatively new to Arizona, only been out here for about a year and a half, so came to google when searching for a business to fix a tear in my car leather seat. Stumbled upon C&L and can’t even explain how happy that I did! Got quotes via the phone from about 5 places all charging double what they estimated here. Explained that to the owners, Chuck and Julia, and they said they believe in being fair and not ripping people off. It was a refreshing thing to hear in this economy. No hidden fees, paid what was quoted. They were able to get me in the very next day which was nice since I wanted it done sooner than later. Said the job would take about 3-4 hours, but ended up only taking about 2. They have a small lobby and I was going to work while I stayed and waited, or walk to another business to use WIFI, but Julia was kind enough to offer to drop me off/pick me up at a nearby Starbucks. Really went above and beyond, appreciated it so much! Before and after pictures do the job justice as the repair looks brand new. This is a great family owned business with such friendly people that if I ever need upholstery work I already know where I’m going because I would come again. I rarely leave reviews, but this was definitely an exception I was willing to make. Spread the word people, they’re amazing!🙂👍🏼

We have a high end custom built vehicle, $150,000 asked Chuck if he could make seats for us using our high end custom layer foam for comfort. Chuck said he could have them done in 2 weeks. Two weeks came and went. We were in the area, stopped by, Chuck hadn't even started it. It turned into an 8 week stall, they are so poorly made we ended up purchasing from another supplier we threw his out! Run!!!
