I’ve worked with Ilja twice now.

The first time he directed a full-day shoot with moving vehicles in various scenic locations around San Francisco. He helped me organize my friends and family into actors. He went above & beyond, bringing his go-pros and 360 degree cameras. Then, he edited into an amazing concept video, including a really creative effect at the end that made it seem like we had a whole fleet of vehicles (we only had 2).

More recently, he worked with me completely remotely to create a pitch video, coaching me on how to record audio and video myself, and he efficiently turned it around into an amazing video in just 3 days.

His best quality is his patience with passionate perfectionist founders. He is my go-to videographer at this point!

I worked with Ilja on three projects. He was absolutely great on all of them. Filmed two talks I gave and he edited them very nicely.

Later I found a dvd of a different talk I gave more than 10 years ago. It needed to be converted and edited to go on a Web site and linked to You Tube. I sent the DVD to him one evening and by he next evening he had completed the editing and mounted it on Drop box where we could then load it into You Tube and then our Web site.

Hi is a very nice guy, works quickly, and delivers a very professional job. Oh, and did I say his prices were quite reasonable.

Our first project was a tightly scripted set of 10 bilingual in Spanish instructional videos and it was a tedious process at times but Ilja was patient and thorough, delivering on time and on budget. We enjoyed working with Ilja so much we contracted with him on a second project of five testimonial videos. He guided us through this process since these were less structured more interview style which required extensive creative editing. Ilja painstakingly worked with us in crafting the storylines through his skillful editing.

Not only is Ilja fantastic with the camera he’s a magician in post production. Ilja was fully committed to the projects and delivered quality end products that everyone was extremely happy with.

He was someone who felt immediately capable, personable, knowledgeable and with good creative input. There were several other artists that were quoting prices 2x-3x what he offered me. After speaking with him and looking at his portfolio, it was obvious he was the best choice.

Working with Ilja was a great experience. I had no idea how to narrate the story and also naturally camera shy. He listened deeply to understand the work that I do and the message I needed to get across. He gave me kind suggestions and was very wonderful in helping me plan and understand the shots and amount of time that would be needed for my project.

He not only came in with a great, supportive attitude, Ilja came with the right professional equipment (the teleprompter was a HUGE help). He made sure I looked good in the shots 😉 and that there was an interesting background to make the story cohesive.

I am so grateful to have found ISDesigns Studio, and yes, the money we raised for our crowdfunding campaign exceeded the original asking amount.
