Officially called Colonial Street, but lovingly referred to as Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives, is part of the backlot sets at Universal Studios Hollywood. The street has undergone small makeovers over the years. This is a working studio after all. For example most of the the famous white picket fences and wisteria have been removed. Colonial street has also been used as a film set for: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Beethoven, Gremlins, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and music videos from The Offspring’s Why Don’t You Get A Job?, Smash Mouth’s All Star, and Nelly and Kelly Rowland’s Dilemma.
