I came here with my father who gave me his old film camera without any knowledge on how to use it. Gary spent a lot of time to teach how to use the camera and make sure everything was working properly. Cannot ask for customer service better than that. I will definitely be coming back to support a business that truly goes above and beyond to help anyone who walks into the store!

Easy going team here! I needed to get a paper backdrop and they helped me find the right size, colors and even let me take a peak at the color I thought I wanted, only to realize a different one would suit my needs better. Come in if you need some gear!

My Mom bought a camera off Ebay for me through Hooper Camera and Imaging - it stated in a couple of places that it was a super s model - but upon further inspection it appears to be the older professional model. I only noticed in the photos that it was an older model minutes after it was ordered. Mom asked for the transaction to be canceled in the same time frame (2 minutes after it was ordered) - and they got back to us the next day and said they would not cancel the transaction. Be very careful to inspect photos before purchasing because other reviews have also stated that the items were not the same as what was described and in hindsight I should have taken that more seriously. I have written them an email as well to try to further explain incase my Mom wasn't clear on the reasoning - but have not heard anything back yet.

Are you an amateur photographer or just someone that wants to get into photography but not sure where to start? Look no further than Hooper. With its extensive supplies and services it’s a no brainer going here vs online. Now, what about the customer service? Unmatched. I could easily go online or pick up a book on photography but nothing will ever compare to actually speaking to a professional that is willing to take the time to teach you what you want and need to know versus getting overwhelmed by useless knowledge.

Now let’s talk pricing, sure you can get lenses and accessories online, but why waste the time and effort returning items or getting frustrated with accessories that won’t work for you when you could just ask the pros and save time and money? I have to admit, for everything that you’re getting through shopping at Hooper the pricing is incredibly reasonable. So if you ever have the chance, pop in and check it out!

Had 4 rolls of b&w film processed. There were clear areas of underdeveloped streaks running through each roll on the negatives. Hooper would take no responsibility for the processing and instead insisted it was somehow my cameras fault. No offer to make it right. Just accusation. Horrible customer service.
