It has been a pleasure to work with Angela. I connected with her at a professional conference because while many others were trying to spray their egos of accomplishments throughout a room full of strangers, she was interested in connecting with individuals in a meaningful and personal way. I’ve found her to be thoughtful, intentional, intelligent, and funny. During our first few conversations, I learned she was a coach and ironically, or rather by the law of attraction, I was curious about finding a life coach. I don’t necessarily admit to looking for a life coach because I was stuck in a story that a coach wouldn’t be valuable because I would feel twice the shame if I quit, failed, or both quit and failed at achieving my goals. Not to mention, I had not created any personal goals. But what I did feel is a sense of living down in my potential. I knew I needed some kind of assistance in reaching and rising to new heights. (By the way I was fearful of heights and allergic to risk.)

I know Happiness Coach is Angela’s professional title, but what she offers is multifaceted. It’s like trying to describe a feeling… it’s only through experience that you’ll either know it or you don’t. During our sessions I’d describe her as a radical and collaborative thought partner, a therapist, and/or a life designer. What stays constant is her desire and willingness to hold space for me to share and to reach. She asks enlightened provocative questions, reframes my own challenges into questions, and provides researched based facts that provide opportunities for encouragement. Our work together has reiterated that what we put into this world matters, is attainable, and it all starts with an intention. In a busy life it’s nice to take a step back to reflect to see what is, evaluate, set goals, and measurable follow up supercharge the change that you desire.
